One of the sailors approached Homer, and attempted to guide him below deck. "First time sailing?" he asked.

Jane grabbed Homer by the collar and tugged him to her side. "First time drinking actually." she said with a grin.

Despite clearly being hung over, Homer looked pretty comfortable.

"A few months, not quite sure. The days don't seem the same length here, and I don't have a watch." - You say to EMily, before glancing over at Homer and sighing.

Heno was taken visibly aback by Jane's accusation, and his eyes bore a great sadness as he put a consoling hand on her shoulder. "... But, soldier woman... I am part of Great Imperial Empire!"

"Hmmm.... I see." She turned over to Magic Eye. "Magic Eye. Can you calculate the amount of time a day has been taking in this world based on the movement of the sun?"

OOC: @Trilby. Feel free to give me input on the length of day.

"Well, helloa H--" Timea began to say, but cut herself off as the girl now identifiable as Hillary went from being made of sand to entirely made of skin. Partially out of shock, and partially to get away from the small sand cloud that fumed up, Timea leaned backwards, and lost balance shortly after, ending in her falling on her rear.

She opened her mouth, about to question what just happened, when she saw it was clear Hillary herself had no idea either. She looked to Hillary for a moment, then questioned, "Are you a shapeshifter, too?"

"Current calculations based on movement of the stars and the sun, assuming that a day is much less than that of a full year, estimate a day that's 27 Earth hours long."

"I see then. Create a new clock based on this data on top of the clock for Earth. Make midnight... hmmm. No, not that. Mark noon when the sun is at the apex in the sky."

"Affirmative. Creating new clock. 13.5 hours from midnight will be noon. Should I send the new clock data to Photon?"

"Yes, thank you. Now we have a watch for this world."

"How does that thing talk? Is it like a radio?" Jane asked, having trouble wrapping her head around something not human talking.

"Well, that's nice I suppose. Haven't had much use for one, but each to their own." You say, before deciding to reattach your prosthetic. It takes some time and swearing, but soon it sits tight on your arm.

"Well, yes. Its speaker system is a lot like that of a radio. It has segments of english syllables and sounds of alphabet letters stored in its memory. It strings them together to form actual speech."

"So, Jane, how did you and Homer meet? Are you part of the same military division?"

You glance over at Robin and thank him, but tell him you'll manage. "Besides, you seem uncomfortable even looking at my stump. I can only imagine how bad it'd be if you accidentally touched it!" - You say jokingly, but you have to admit to yourself that it's more about pride than anything else.

Hillary would get to her hands and knees as she held onto the ground, not understanding why the ground seemed to give way all of a sudden. She'd have another gander at her hands again, her facial expression cementing the fact she had no idea what was going on. "N-no, I'm a slime! Not that shifter thing." She protested back, shaking her head from side to side, the fleshy dreadlocks whipping about a little. "Why am I like this now?" She asked, sounding agitated before looking back at her newly formed feet. "Aah!"
