The armoured man raised his shield and his cudgel as Jantra approached, waiting for the lion to attack.
The unarmoured man would be too slow to avoid Speedy, and the hamster would make it under his clothes. He tried falling hard on the ground to squash the hamster.

Jantra swung low at the man's knees.

 

[Silence]

Camp, day 13, 04:02

Speedy zapped the man as much as he could, and then, him beeping faster, managed to slip out in time from where he would be squashed. He then flew, slightly tottering, to Robin. "It's dangerous! Can I do something else?" he asked.

Camp, day 13, 04:02
The man lowered he shield to block the blow, then retaliated with a swing down onto Jantra's head.
Robin was about the answer when a swordsman rushed him, forcing him to draw his blade and duel the merc. His lack of skill showed.

 

[Silence]

Camp, day 13, 04:02

Seeing Robin in trouble, Speedy flew on the head of the swordsman, putting as much electricity as he could in his arms, and zapping the man.

Before the man's strike could connect, Jantra took advantage of his already lowered posture and tackled him in the stomach, trying to bring him to the ground.

Camp, day 13, 04:02
The swordsman fell to the ground, where he moaned. Robin waited for Speedy to get off, then kicked him in the head just to make sure he was down.
Jantra mostly ended up just hurting himself, but the man came down.

 

[Silence]

Camp, day 13, 04:02

Now Speedy was about to fly to the next man he spotted, but instead plopped down, into the snow, as his jetpack stopped functioning.
This did not stop Speedy, however, and he tried to run up the leg of the first man he saw, zapping him as soon as he saw a place to do it.

Jantra dropped his shield as he leaped upon the man, then swung his axe with both hands at the armored man's head.

Camp, day 12, 04:02
The first man Speedy was the archer that had run away a bit earlier. The man's keen eye let him see the hamster coming, and he moved his feet around to prevent the hamster from going up his leg.
The armoured moved his head to dodge the strike, then punched Jantra in the face with an armoured gauntlet.

 

[Silence]

Camp, day 13, 04:02

Speedy ran past the archer, then came to halt, melting some snow around him. He turned and started running again, planning to get on the mans leg now.

The punch would not be all that effective, as Jantra had a full helmet. Leaving his axe stuck in the ground, he reached for the man's mace and tried to take it.

The archer tripped, giving Speedy an opening.
Jantra easily took the mace.

 

[Silence]

Camp, day 13, 04:02

Speedy zapped the archer with his whole body, rolling over him with his fur. Then he ran back, and looked at how much was left to do.

Camp, day 13, 04:03
The rest of the fight went on predictably, and eventually all but one of the mercs fell. The last, a swordsman, merely sat on the ground looking quite bored. The camp belong to Robin, Speedy and Jantra, though not without them earning a few knocks.

 

[Silence]

Camp, day 13, 04:03

Speedy walked to the last swordsman and said: "You have lost. What do you want now?"

He then looked back to Robin. "What should we do now? Do you have a plan how to get Shara back into her normal body?"

Mountain Camp - Day 13
You're unable to see most of the fight, and you're not sure who won until Speedy speaks up. You try to reply but all that comes out is a wheeze. You suddenly feel very glad that you do not need to breathe, and you also realize that's why you're still alive. [color=0066cc]If this can be called living...[/color]

Camp, day 13, 04:03
"I want to leave, but I was told to stay here. Apparently the others were told to take out intruders, but I was told to just not leave the camp. Pale bastard kinda dropped the ball on that one, huh?" The swordsman replied.
Robin went over to Shara, examining her injuries and hearing her wheeze. "Shara, I'm sorry but I'm not sure if I can set you free. Not yet at least. Last time we met Quan ordered you to kill, and I don't want to risk anything. But I will try to get you help, OK?"

 

[Silence]

Camp, day 13, 04:03

"That is kind of funny, yes." Speedy said and laughed. "I hope we can help you as well.

... Robin! The books are over there!" he called.

Mountain Camp - Day 13
You weakly shake your head, but in your current state that's all you can do to object. The chains keeping you down prevents you from even drawing a finger across your throat.
