Honest Jack, only used to seeing things go significantly faster than walking speed, sniggered as the cart slowly rolled forward. Sedately, he started Calamity Jane rolling, slowly following alongside the cart where the road allowed it, and behind the cart where it wouldn't, up the first hill. He idly wondered about where Heno was, but realized that if the mountainous man had to walk it wouldn't be too much of an issue.

Jane would notice the same blue and purple rose-like flowers Timea had seen, along the side of the road.

Jane suddenly jumped out of the cart, picked a flower, and jumped back on the cart. She studied the flower closely, admiring its foreign look. Curious, she smelled it.

Jack, eyeing the road, would lean partially out of the seat of his motorcycle to speak to the cart driver. "The road stays similar all the way to the city, don't it? No big changes?"

Jane would find the flower had an unfamiliar, though fairly sweet, scent. Anyone familiar with roses would also find the scent unusual.

"It gets a little steeper later on, and the roads in the city are cobbled. But other than that, pretty much the same." the man responded.

Honest Jack nodded, his mind working. "You know, there might be problems if we run into bandits. They often a problem round here?" He smiled genially. "After all, fish from your fine village would go for quite the pretty penny I imagine. Why, I'd imagine a shipment such as this being worth a quite fair amount!"

"The bandits around here keep to the sea. There's more money in plundering merchant ships than carts of fish." the man said. With a smile, he continued, "A lot more money, in fact."

As you walk beside the cart, you see the city in the distance. Although you can't see many details from this distance, you know roughly what to expect. You've passed through hundreds of ports in your days, and despite everything you found yourself very familiar during your previous (and only) trip to this one. You say as much to Robin, then add with a grin; "Of course, this one reeks of fish, all the others smelled of oil."

While Aquamarine chose to ride the cart and closely watched the surroundings, Topaz walked or ran next to the cart the whole trip. "I hope bandits attack us. I haven't fought anyone the whole time I've been here! That's like, almost a whole day!"

"Topaz, you haven't fought anything for over five centuries."

After about 7 million years of being weirded out by Timea suddenly turning into a giant kangaroo-bird, Sibylla climbed into the pouch.

Jack nodded amiably, and settled back into his seat. Calamity Jane's motor then revved slightly, and he glared at his bike.

"Hey, Calamity Jane's whining. There a main gate I can meet ya at?" he asked the cart driver.

After Sibylla climbed in the pouch, and Heno onto her back, bird-Timea began running along the beach, spreading out her wings and beginning to flap them as she did, throwing up clouds of sand behind her. She hat a bony protrusion grow from her back for Heno to hold on to, giving him a better grip then the feathers. Her feet touching the ground less and less, Timea eventually leapt up, and began flying.

After gaining altitude, Timea banked, and headed Northwards. For the sake of her passengers, Timea didn't fly very fast for her doing, reaching speeds of about 60km/h / 31mph after a short while of winding up. While going at a fair speed, neither Sibylla nor Heno would feel any wind blow against them, the air being remarkably still.

Going at the speeds, Timea was quick to pass the slow moving cart, and would smile to herself at the thought of beating the rest to the city, if she had any lips in her current form.

"Only once. But even if I hadn't, I could have told you what we'll find. There's the docks, of course, and then you'll find merchants selling all kinds of goods to whoever wants to buy. I know a good blacksmith in town, he made my prosthetic and it didn't cost too much. Keep a close watch of your possessions, too, because there'll be pickpockets looking for an easy mark." - You say before pausing. "But the most important place of all, and the one we should go to, is the bar. I've got many stories that start with a chance meeting in one, and it's the best place to find a captain to take you somewhere."

Jack glanced up to spot the giant bird. Deducing she was probably someone from another world, and deciding he wasn't going to let her beat him like he was a sad cart, he patted Calamity Jane. She roared in response, and put the music on.

He then gave the cart a grin and stepped on the gas, speeding out onto the road and quickly hitting 50 mph/80 kph. The music would play more loudly as he sped up, quickly becoming a booming noise throughout the road. It could probably be heard at the town as he raced towards it, and possibly (though very distorted) up where Timea flew.

"Pickpockets?" Topaz asked Shara. "I don't have anything to steal, but do you really think anyone would try to steal from a group like us, anyway?"
