Taking in the view, Speedy said:

"That's beautiful. It looks just like in the history books.

But this highway is quite uncared for. No streetlamps. And this car is quite slow."

While he had the itch to run ahead, he stayed on the cart, not wanting to lose the group out of sight.

Robin nodded in thanks, making a map in his head based of Shara's information. "Sounds like a plan. And thanks for the heads up about the pickpockets. I'll keep an eye out."

While Timea flew ahead, she'd pass over a curious looking speck near the road. On closer inspection, it was a woman with white hair and a cigarette lit in her mouth. The smoke billowed up a faint bit as the girl walked forward, giving the speeding cart and the massive bird an idle look as they both passed her by. She'd shrug softly to herself, thinking nothing major of it as she'd continue down the road.

OoC @Jack: \m/ >_< \m/

Seeing Jack rocket away on his strange-looking bike, Timea let out a chuckle, deciding not to speed up to race him properly so to not distress those flying on her. "I guess you win this", she softly said to herself. Upon hearing the music, however, Timea cocked her head, wondering in what in the name was coming into her ears, even if she didn't hear it very clearly.

Moving her gaze away from Jack, Timea's gaze briefly linger on the wandering woman, noting the lack of a overly surprised look in the brief moment she flew over. Having been told that giant birds weren't a thing, at least in the general island chain, Timea deduced the woman had to be from another world, also.

When past the woman, Timea looked out to the sea, wondering if she could spot one of the sea monsters.

As Jack drove off, Matilda would clamp her hands over her ears, while the cart driver simply stared in shock.

Timea would notice immediately notice that Heno weighed quite a bit more than your average man when he climbed on top of her(*Wink*). He seemed thoroughly disappointed by the lack of wind rushing past him. "... Uh... Timea... Don't... Air currents... Aren't they important to flying... Isn't flying through the air a bit like sailing through the sea? You need to have a map of all the currents if you want to do that. That is right, that is how my inventing friend explained it to me, and he made very large contraptions that fly through the air."

You glance at Topaz and chuckle, saying that pickpockets will go after anyone if they think they can get away with it. You are not particularly disturbed by the bike racing away, as you are used to loud engines. The music gets your attention however, and you remember a particularly foul-smelling band who hired your ship long ago. You shake your head, deciding that the only good thing about where you are stuck was that there wasn't any of that, until now.

"I don't know the first thing about sailing, but I do glide on air currents. They just only flow under my wings", Timea answered as she looked out to the sea. Indeed, looking to Timea's wings, he could see her feathers billowing in the air stream, and if he looked behind him and had good enough eyes, might see faint jets of air trailing behind the wings. "As for why that is... !" she continued, her voice becoming a little louder before a dramatic pause. "...I don't rightly know. But there you have it."

Timea wouldn't be able to see any sea monsters yet, and might guess that this was due to them avoiding areas with higher than average boat traffic.

Jack would continue roaring down the road, Calamity Jane seeming to treat the hills as mere geographical marks not worthy of slowing or speeding her up in anyway. Quite quickly, with music still roaring, Honest Jack would climb the last hill and get a clear shot to the coastal town. He did his best to eye the distance between him and the town.

Jack would guess he had a little over half a kilometer left until he reached the town.

As Robin passed her by, he'd probably see her eyes had no pupils to them... just empty gray irises. She seemed to notice his stare for the few moments she could make his facial features out. Then he, the cart, and the hard rock all faded into the distance. She kept continuing onward with a little yawn. "Well... that's new... not unlike every other thing 'round 'ere." The girl muttered to herself as she walked.

Heno shrugged, and simply accepted this fact. You shouldn't question the ways of spirits after all. "So what kind of spirit are you, Timea?

Honest Jack nodded, and squeezed the brakes, intent on driving in at a slower pace than how he'd been driving to get there.

Calamity Jane refused such an idiotic notion, and continued going at her incredible speed and pounding out Kickstart My Heart.

Jack cursed, and squeezed the brake lever harder. This did nothing, making him worry even more greatly. "Jane, you cantankerous hunk a junk, you stop right this instant or I swear I'll-" Jack stopped speaking, as he realized in this short exchange they'd covered another hundred meters. He started panicking, and leaned forward in an attempt to spot anyone who was in front of the gate to the city.

Noticing the lack of sea monsters, Timea had a faint guess that this was because they stayed out of the trade routes, but not with any degree of certainty. As far as she knew, the creatures could simply be too far down for her to see. She would continue looking out to see, only occasionally looking to the North to check how far out the port still was.

"Oh, I could tell you what I am... ", Timea began answering Heno. "But where ever is the fun in that? No, I'll let you try and piece it together, yourself~"

In a moment she looked straight ahead, Timea noticed Jack in the distance continue to speed towards the city, without signs of slowing down, and cocked her head as she looked on.

"... That seems very peculiar of a spirit... Well what are your powers, Timea? Maybe, I can figure out what you are the spirit of."
