Dalahar seemed delighted, the possibility of his truth continuing here a great revelation. "If the gods can hear me, if they can answer.
Surely other can. The truth......." He stopped himself "no. The warp isn't present here, there is no way for them to hear me." He said solemnly before looking towards the prison as Shana had indicated. He hoped her training wouldn't have to come in to practice to soon. "Forgive me. I am still attached to old beliefs."

Having used a lot of her strength, Anik did not give much resistance after being tasered. She slumped down, exhausted.
"... I'm sorry about this." she told the guards. "I'm glad you listened to me. I panicked. I'm glad nobody got hurt."

"Ultimately, though. I don't think Anik should be allowed to go unpunished. Regardless of the company she kept, she has still killed people. It would set a bad precedent to let her go"

, Kuki mused after Ella spoke.

"The best case scenario, I think, is if she could sit out a sentence, here."

When Shana relayed what she heard, Kuki cocked her head, wondering what was up.

Waltham, Massachusetts. Night ~ Early morning. March 3rd ~ March 4th,​

Close to midnight, more rifts on a parking lot opened in Waltham, this time, on the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Express hotel. Over the course of 30 minutes, eight more rifts followed, appearing along Gregory Street, and Falconer Cir. While of mildly varying sizes, all rifts had the same appearance when looked through, and all behaved the same.

By 6 AM, people had started noticing the new rifts, and pictures and videos of them began appearing on the internet.

Although the energy signature being different than what they were looking for, the nebulous entity eventually also noticed the rifts appearing, and began investigating. The send through a watcher drone; a flying machine shaped like a sphere, with a camera integrated into it, and the size of a tennis ball. With it, came a host of flying spybots, shaped like, and the size of a fly. Unlike the spybots, the watcher drone stayed in contact with its home dimension, sending through the feed of its camera, and those of the spybots, who were sending their feed to the watcher.

Ella looked up at Dalahar, slightly worried. She simply nodded to him, then she turned to Fernand; "She doesn't need money to have a lawyer. If she can't afford one, the state is required to provide one for her." Ella was bewildered by the fact that she knew more about Canadian law than a Canadian. It was something she'd never gotten quite used to. She then replied to Kuki; "So we should sentence her for a crime committed somewhere else? That's a dangerous road to go down."

"Well I can't tell you much. It was all based on light, and could heal."

"Light based magic... Possibly deific in origin then. And healing would fit that, too... Well, that's better than nothing!" the woman hopped to her feet and smiled at Candace. "Do you know anyone who does know about this magic?"

"I know the state provides lawyers." Fernand explained, "I just meant it would not be a good one, who definitely would get her out of trouble."

, Kuki responded.

"Even in the best scenario, where this nation she's from agrees to her being incarcerated here, this place could probably become a dumping ground for extradiomensional convicts, couldn't it?"

Kuki then blew a mute sigh.

"Theoretically, what would happen if this government asking her return canbe proven to be corrupt?"

 

[Kirke]

"No lawyer can definitely get her out of trouble. This is a complicated mess, we'll just have to wait and see what happens." - Ella replied to Fernand. She added; "Besides, if she is guilty, she should be sentenced. Though I've got a feeling their legal code is aimed more at punishment than rehabilitation." She then looked down at Kuki and responded; "It might not change much, I'm afraid. If the claim that they'll seek to use her for murder is true, that would probably preclude extradition. But good luck proving that."

The XPOL National Coordinator of the US sighed as he drank his coffe. He'd watched the occurrences of rifts in a city called Waltham (He'd never heard of it before). He had hoped it'd be something that could be handled by ordinary police, but now it was starting to show up on social media as well according to his secretary. By 5:30 AM, he felt compelled to call the local police and ask if they wanted an agent to come check it out.

"The idea is that people who commit crimes are sent here to learn how to reintegrate into society."

"I am afraid not."

Fernand nearly started crying.

"Well, that's a shame... Do you know anything about any type of magic?"

Shana sighed and crossed her arms as she listened to people talk.

"I'm afraid your law system will have to grow more and more complicated as the years go by. I feel like this world has been fortunate enough to handle cases that are familiar. But I don't think that everything will be neatly clumped together into groups of felonies."
