Currently, the energy signal of our portals can be detected by defence forces. This is a problem that must be rectified, if future operation are to run at maximum efficiency.

Secondly, we request an intelligence file on your target. Appearance, last known location, abilities and weaknesses, if applicable. That sort of thing."

She omitted the fact that none of those were able to create portals, neither on their own, nor together. "I understand the need for change in the functionality of your portals.

As for the target, sure, that won't be a problem. Do you want it written down, or in magic scripture, or something else?"

Candace pulled out a handkerchief, giving it to Nina gently.

"Written down would be fine. If you could give such a file to your mages, and contact me when they arrive, and we'll receive them, and collect the intel.

In the time work is being done on the portals, I'll see to it the intel is studied, and a plan is devised", the representative answered, then paused briefly, and took a small breath. "As for the rendezvous point, I propose a different location than where we met, but one close by."

The rep then relayed the coordinates for Parc Le Ber.

"Teleportation?" The rep repeating, slightly breaking away from speaking with his usual monotone voice, as he sounded surprised. Taking a breath, he then cleared his throat, and continued speaking like he usually did. "Certainly, that would solve the problem. But to answer your question, no. You would not."

Streets of Montreal - Late morning​

On her way to the hotel, Ella was contacted by the superintendent; "We have a problem." - He said, pausing a moment before adding; "Actually, we have many problems, but the most urgent one is that 'Blue' left the portal station some time before the Forefront portal in the park opened. She came back after the second portal had been closed. She was spotted walking in that general direction. The possibility of these two cooperating is... extremely dangerous. Anik, 'Black' and Dala are possible targets and the local police has no way to stop a Forefront mission. You need to retrieve those the former two and bring them to secure locations. You must also ensure Dala's safety - her access to a Forefront dimension has been deemed vitally important by XPOL HQ. Get moving, find Dala. The ETR squad will collect the other two but they will be needed to lock down the portal station. You will have to escort the VIPs."

Ella confirmed that she understood, then rushed back to the hotel. She burst in, calling out; "Where's Dala!?"

Candace, still helping Nina, looks as Ella entered, shouting. "What? She left."

Lambda went quiet on that last note.

I can also tell you and them most of the things Blue can do - and I might even be able to come up with a plan if I know the exact abilities of the extradimensionals. Blue was confused about the rep's surprise, as she thought of teleportation as far more simple magic than traveling worlds. "Alright." she stated, "then it is arranged."

A silhouette would come out of her and walk back through the portal, while Blue was still sitting near the portal, observing what the guards were doing.

[Kirke]

"Merde! Do you know where she went? What was she going to do?" - Ella replied, with urgency in her voice. She then noticed Nina, and looked at her with confusion.

 

[Drakmorg]

"T-Thanks..." Nina timidly accepted the handkerchief and started wiping her face. She jumped a little as Ella suddenly burst in.
