Second Hotel, Pointe St-Charles, Montreal. March 5th, Late Morning.​

Having remained in the dining room after talking with Candace, Kuki began moving towards the lobby when they heard the louder than usual speaking coming from that direction.

Heading into the lobby, Kuki looked up towards the three present, wondering what Nina was doing there, if she was arrested, and why Ella looked alarmed.

"Is anything wrong?"

they asked.

The majority of the fly spybots had followed the group to the new hotel, where they either flew in circles above it, or sat on rooftops opposite the hotel. When Ella burst into the hotel, one of them flew down, and settled on the wall, above the entrance.

Dalahar's journey, day 1, 138 main road, north east bound

Dalahars decision in direction was due his need to find a ship large enough to carry him. The rough layout of this earth and terra was the same. However this earth still had its oceans, replaced on terra by vast deserts. They would have been easier to cross. Instead Dalahar need a ship to take him where he needed. He didn't care where he was going as long as it was far away. A ship seemed the best bet, the old waterborne vessels were vastly different to the void ships he was used to but the best way for someone to escape anything in his world was to find a ship and board it, letting it carry the passenger to their unknown destination.

While within city limits and built up areas Dalahar walked briskly, waiting until he reached more rural areas before he would break into an running pace.

"You're safe now at least." Candace told Nina calmly, trying to stop her tearing up again. She looked to Ella. "She left to go talk to that Lambda woman."

"Maybe. It depends on the illusion."

 

[Silence]

[color=e50000]"How do you mean that?"[/color]

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"I can distort gravity and create portals for destruction and transportation. Would those have any effect on these kinds of illusions?" Lambda clarified.

 

[Kirke]

Ella glanced at Kuki, saying; "There's always something wrong, these days. But I can't really talk about it." - She then sighed in relief when Candace mentioned Lambda; "Oh good, I'll call her then." Stepping into the room and closing the door, Ella brought up her phone and called Lambda. She again looked at Nina, still confused, but decided she had more important things to do right now.

 

[Silence]

[color=e50000]"Some of them are water-based, so yes. It could probably cause an effect."[/color] Dala said and sighed. [color=e50000]"So that's good. If it comes to the worst, you could be able to hold off some of them.
But I'm not sure if you have to fight yet, so let's find that out, first. We should get to Anik."[/color]

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Lambda nodded, then looked at her phone as it rang. She looked back to Dala. "Pardon me." She stood, heading off as she answered. "Hello?"

 

[Kirke]

"Hi, this is agent Beckers. I'm looking for Dala, is she with you?" - Ella asked, urgently.

At the same time, the ETR dropship took off and flew towards the Bordeaux prison where Anik was held, with five of the ETR troopers inside. The last one was in the passenger seat of a police car, heading to the police station where 'Black' was being held.

Hearing Ella's answer to their question as to what was wrong, Kuki silently agreed. Seeing Ella was busy, Kuki quickly said,

"I'd like to talk, when you have the time"

, then began moving back to the dining hall. They did so, more jittery than normal, as they wondered what trouble was brewing this time, but consoled themselves with the thought that they'd put it behind them, soon.

"Affirmative."

 

[Kirke]

"Good, where are you?" - Ella asked as she started to slowly follow Kuki. She figured that it'd be best to just talk to them now, as she wasn't sure when she'd have time again.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Ile Bizard. Are you coming?"

 

[Kirke]

"Copy. I'll be heading towards you in a few minutes, just need to talk to someone. See you soon." - She said, ending the call. She followed Kuki into the dining hall and asked; "Now, what was it you wanted to talk to me about?"

Second Hotel, Pointe St-Charles, Montreal. Late Morning. March 5th​

Arriving in the dining room, Kuki sat down, looking up to Ella as she moved in behind them.

"Right. Well, after all the insanity we're running in, and with more on the way, I've decided to go back home. But before I go, I'd like to say goodbye to Anik. So, I wanted to ask if you know if visitation is possible."

 

[Silence]

Late Morning​

[color=e50000]"Who was that?"[/color] Dala asked after Lambda had ended the call. [color=e50000]"Something urgent?"[/color]

 

[Kirke]

Ella raised an eyebrow; "You can make a portal home? I thought you came here due to the anomaly, like the others." - She then added; "If you want to meet Anik, come with me. She's going to be in my custody pretty soon, you could talk to her briefly then."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"A police officer. She wants to talk to us." Lambda told Dala, sitting back down.

Kuki was a bit surprised to hear Anik would be released from prison so soon, until they realised her birthplace's nation wouldn't have much rights after events from the day before.

"No, I'm a tourist"

, Kuki answered.

"Anyway, if we're going to see Anik, anyway, I guess I can tag along for a bit longer"

, they continued, a bit uncomfortable with the idea.

"Do you think things will get dangerous again, soon, though?"
