"So to put this in a nutshell, there's this person named Anik who escaped from her world and has a criminal record because she was mind controlled as an assassin. A few people from her world come here to bring her to justice. One of them, named Blue, has taken control of the portal here in this town. Dala, also known as Red and also from the same world, wants to stop Blue. We tried to engineer a plan to get back the portal, but a couple of people on our team didn't really follow Dala's orders. And now those same two, Yauna and Nina, presumably have contracts or deals with Blue. Nina's with us, but I have no idea where Yauna is or what she aims to do."

Faa had spotted Shana and Zevrisya on the street and swooped down and landed next to them. "Sounds dicy" he hummed, catching what Shana had said. "makes me wonder about what happened with me"

Throne room, otherworld. Presently​

The representative listened to Yauna's retelling, having a couple of questions about the plan, but holding off on them, for now.

He turned to face her, then spoke. "Unfortunately, that's going to be a problem. XPOL will almost certainly have marked you as suspect. The reason is twofold. One is that you would have been seen appearing in the station and entering through the portal on the cameras there", he began, then paused, and looked to Blue. "--You ought to have those destroyed, I should suggest."

The rep then paused again, taking a small breath, and looked back to Yauna, before continuing. "The second reason, is that one of the extra-dimensionals you were with - the one with the tail - has contacted XPOL, and informed them of your working with our mutual friend.

All in all, XPOL would not risk sending someone who knows the location of whichever facility Anik might be moved to."

 

[Slenn]

"Did you encounter Yauna earlier?" She asked Faa.

 

[Vakra jal]

"I don't think so. I've only met you and Zev here. And that big soldier in red armour. Honestly I am at a loss on what to do with myself until I can go home." he explains "it just seems if anything peculiar is going on then that would likely involve those who had taken me. I visited where I crashed the APC. It's gone, completely vanished"

 

[Slenn]

"Sorry... APC? And what's this about a guy in red armor?"

 

[Vakra jal]

"A large warrior. Called himself Ahriman. As for the APC that's what I woke up inside. Burned my way out of the muzzle they had on me and here I am. At least I'm a lot less worried now."

 

[Slenn]

"I'm still confused. What does APC stand for? And what's this about a muzzle?"

"I was a little worried about that, though I assumed it would be Dala to sell me out, if she didn't run away." Yauna replied. "Well, the plan can be amended easily enough. Do you have any ideas for how to locate Anik?"

[color=660099]"That does sound like an issue. So, what's happening to Anik?"[/color] Zev asked. Shen then looked at Faa and said, [color=660099]"Remember when I took the muzzle off you? It disintegrated or something like that. Maybe the same happened to the APC."[/color]

"As far as I know, Anik is being detained by XPOL somewhere. XPOL is a police force that maintains laws concerning extradimensionals."

 

[Drakmorg]

With the children being the only people she had met so far that weren't wearing full-body concealing robes, Nina was confused by Serio's question. "What do you mean?"

 

[Vakra jal]

"APC, armoured personal carrier. It's a militairy transport humans use." he felt a little strange explaining this as Scath didn't use APCs. "I had some sort of muzzle over my mouth when I woke up, keeping my jaws shut. Zevrisya here took the remains off me after I burned it and it disintegrated. Maybe that's what happened to the transport too. Curious"

"We have two ideas. But, one is a long shot, and the other is risky, and with with treacherous variables. So, if there are alternatives, we would like to explore these, first.

You mentioned you have spells which might help locating our target? What are they?"

"I can scry on her. I did it not too long ago and she was still in transit, with one XPOL officer and presumably the person operating the vehicle. The area I can observe around her is limited, but might offer some valuable clues if timed correctly."

"I'm not sure if that detail was given to the members of XPOL. And I'm not sure if they would take anecdotal evidence seriously if Anik would try and explain it to them."

"Scry? I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with the term. From what you described, it sounds like a method of espionage", the rep commented, then took a small breath. "How does this spell function?"

"Really? In my family, you would be... Ill treated." Candace said.

"you're justice system seems needlessly complex, I have only glanced over that area in my studies" he hummed

"Disclaimer, it's not my justice system. I'm not from this world."

"ah true. You never mentioned where you were from originally." he hummed. "I just assumed that humans were more diverse here"
