Ella frowned slightly, replying to Zev; "I've never heard of a legislational army before. Just keep in mind that if you assist us, it'll be as an XPOL deputy, not a prosecutor." She then turned her focus to the entire group and said; "Now, during the journey you will be given a group of documents. These will contain the details of pay and such, as well as a fundamental overview of our judicial system and laws. It is imperative that you keep to these, especially when you represent XPOL. When we arrive, I will ask each of you to sign off on it and swear you in as deputies. If you decide during the trip that you don't want to, or can't, go in our service then we will arrange transport for you back to Canada." - She paused, then said; "Any questions?"

The hours that had passed drew tensions to a new height. The flashpoint at Johanusburg would be a shadow of the conflict about to spark. Scath numbers had swelled to over ten thousand. Roughly 9000 Yok and 2000 Y'rek'd. Each fiefdom now represented by a Warwing and fully a tenth of the Y'rek'd now present. Their area of entrance could not support more troops due to their size and the dark cloud of Scath on the wing was visible for miles around as they mustered. Scouts had reported the movement and mobilisation of the Hrem and the Yok contingent Ptaak had prepared was despatched with a knight in command. Tell'ez'vund, of the Feifdom of Hellit. Vund and the Scaths demands had changed. They expected full surrender, withdrawal of militairy presence. The princes return a key point of their demands. That was the only thing that would bring them to the table.

As Faa understood it the Hrem law enforcement here was roughly similar to the Hrem from home he had studied. It was very different to how Scath enforced laws in their dual layered system. The punishments meted out by Kva'ytz were a lot different as well. "Ytz alm vesh'a" he mumbled the old proverb to ward of bad luck.

Nova had set her phone emulation to "speaker", as it were, So Sarah's response would be projected to and heard by everyone present. After Sarah was finished speaking, she hung up on the call. "Are you open to negotiations on what the pay is?"

"We'll fix that when we arrive in Johannesburg." - Ella replied to Shana. She then turned to Reinhardt; "We're taking off in a few minutes, time is of the essence. And it'll be dangerous, no doubt. Johannesburg has withstood one attack already, another might be coming." She then clapped her hands and said; "Now, if there is nothing else, we should get ready for take-off. The trip will take between twelve and sixteen hours, depending on the weather."

The military presence in Johannesburg had been strengthened significantly, with roughly six-thousand soldiers ready for battle. More importantly, they now had much more equipment. Some tanks, anti-air artillery, regular artillery and more. Two ETR squads and eighteen XPOL agents had also arrived.

The evacuation of the civilian populace had continued, with a stream of people moving north to escape the brewing war.

Basically at the last moment, Sarah, her green neon glowing brightly in the dark, flew to landed near the others, in an Iron Man pose.

"If it's going to be that long to travel, they probably already have food packed."
