After a few moments of silence, Viyang said, [color=663399]"Anik, perhaps you should try meeting with the non-humans that are on this world, and have been here longer than us. Find out what their cultures and homelands are like, and how they feel about humans."[/color]

Hearing Kuki, Anik thought for a bit, then said: "I don't know about that ... but maybe? You are small and smart, maybe if human would be as smart as your species, they could fix what they already have destroyed?"

She then turned to Shana: "No, Shana, I am not human ... anymore. I was, though, and I know about myself, and about others, so I believe I can speak about humans.

Viyang, you might be right. And I said it before, I know that some people here are much better than the ones where I grew up. I get so much more help here ... Shana might be right, maybe not all is lost. But I honestly had enough of humans. They made me what I am today. ... someone who does not know who she is."

Without clear evidence, Anik, I find that hard to believe. She thought to herself.

"Yes, that is a big factor, Kuki. It would be unethical, unless the person in question requests that he or she be altered to be a human. It is a particularly rare case, and its controversy is also complex."

After catching her breath and getting a feel for the conversation, Ella chimed in a response to Viyang; "I can answer that, in a general sense. Most are close enough in culture that they manage to integrate without much difficulty. Others do not, and at times they've tried to violently make themselves at home. The first anomaly in particular was a tragedy for the people of Tokyo for that reason. Others have found areas that aren't settled by humans and made their own societies, though those guys get into trouble with the governments sometimes." She listened carefully to what Anik said, somewhat disturbed by it.

Yuri crossed his arms. "I'm not advocating for political revolution. You can't fix anything when you have to get through miles of government regulation and voting and stuff, not fast enough to help the people in trouble at least. I do what I can, instead of relying on others. And yes, I would in fact argue that stopping guys like that governor would improve the world."

Code:
"Thanks!"
Kuki said happily on Anik's compliment.
Code:
"But who knows, right? Maybe one day, they can. It's a long road, one that we're even not sure on how to cross, and we've been doing this forever!"
With this said, Kuki turned their attention back to Shana.
Code:
"Sure, that could happen. But a few isolated cases like that wouldn't be enough to change the public perception at large, I think. I'm not sure on your statement that the changes had no psychological effect, however. A change in the body will affect how the brain regulates it, and that's not even touching upon sociology!"

Anik nodded and smiled to Yuri. "Maybe you can make a difference, by deciding yourself what to do, and having pure motivations.
If we ever get out of this city ... I could check if I would believe you, or not."

"I mentioned to Candace earlier that the reason for fenrir going feral is something akin to the placebo effect. There are fenrir who feel as if the wolf gene has some impact on their mentality. When in fact it doesn't, save for alterations to how the brain receives sound, light, and radiation. Which is what I meant by no mental effect. In any case, since they want to feel enraged they will often berserk more quickly than most humans do. They claim its some sort of lycanthropy. But there hasn't been any solid evidence towards this idea that fenrir naturally get more enraged from the genetics. On the outside it's hard to see it since attacks against humans can be more violent than attacks on fenrir." She said to Kuki. "But they make the same decisions as humans, the same mistakes, the same great ideas."

"I told earlier that I could sense people's vices and virtues. It's ... an ability I had all my life. It got worse, though, and I had to suppress it.

I can still use it, but I sense the hearts of all people around me. And this is a city. If I would activate it, I would sense the virtues, vice, and feelings of most people around us, including these in houses. It would ... make me throw up, give me a headache, maybe I would even faint. Because it would be just too many."
Anik explained to Yuri.

"So, if we were out of the city, I could feel your virtues and vice, and know how much you mean what you said."

Code:
"Hmm. I'm not really convinced that's it, although a self-reinforced believe could certainly add to it. I don't know what a wolf is, though. And neurology isn't my field of expertise to begin with, so all I can really say for sure is that more research is needed!"
Kuki said, then looked went back to looking straight ahead.

After a moment of this, they looked towards Ella.
Code:
"Ella? We should be almost there, right?"

Ella nodded. "We are close, yes."

A few minutes later, the group arrived at a police station. Ella turned to the group and asked which of them wanted to come inside, and asked them to let her do the talking.

Montreal, Rue Notre-Dame, Mortuary. March 1st.

Code:
"You know my answer!"
Kuki said, answering Ella's question.
Code:
"And, sure. That's fine by me. Can I only attend the autopsy, though? Or can I help preforming it?"

"I can come in and carry Kuki, if you want. But I'll be of limited help. Unless I can maybe sniff something out?"

"I am fairly certain that it'd be illegal to let you participate in the autopsy." - Ella said to Kuki, before looking over at Anik. "I've smelled that body earlier. It is not a pleasant odour. Frankly I hope we'll observe it from a separate room."

She sighed, and then said; "Alright, come on then guys, let's go." Ella walked inside, and glanced around for a moment before heading to the front-desk/secretary.

Upon entering, Ella would indeed spot a front desk, with some staff members behind it. One of them looked up at Ella, his eyes briefly focusing on the tattoo on her forearm, before asking how he could help.
