"I know that, that's why I'm not objecting to us buying food." Anik had answered Shana.

"I hope you are sure this god never escapes ..." she commented to Gash. "The god who gave me blessings has quite the reach. I doubt anyone would escape this one, either."

She entered the grill restaurant as well, sniffing the air a lot.

"I beat it once already, shouldn't be too much trouble to capture him again." Gash told Anik, then chuckled. "I think it's actually afraid of me."

"I spoke with Faotar, god of hunting and wolves on another world. I still feel his blessing, I did where I came from, and I do even more so now, again." Anik explained to Candace.

She then chuckled. "I guess you actually have a right to speak as confident as you speak then.
Hmm ... I think I would like to test out your strength myself at some point."

Gash raised her hand to he chin to think. "Yeah, sparring all of you could be fun. All of you at once, I mean."

"I know what I'm doing, princess." Anik chuckled. "You are wearing some kind of heavy armor, aren't you, Gash?" she asked, then. "How heavy is it?"

"Hell if I know how heavy it is, but it's the heaviest I could ever find. It's some kind of stone, enchanted to be tougher and heavier."

"Doesn't that limit your movement and stamina while fighting?" Anik asked, now curious. "Maybe I could try lifting you in this armor, to test how heavy it is?"

"Oh no. I have the blessing of Faotar, and am something more. It doesn't hurt to try. I always need something to exercise with, and most of the stuff I have is too lightweight."

"Never failed me ... well, after I found out how exactly the blessings worked.
But I'm also confident in my own strength. I could have intervened with the fight, earlier, but it seemed like all went well."

"It's not native to this world, but if you looked hard enough you might find some."

"But wouldn't you be this god's eternal servant, as well?" Viyang asked Gash, as she entered the restaurant.

"Really..." Candace stated in disbelief. She looked over Anik, noticing some of the tribal markings and artifacts. "So those items you carry are enchanted?"

"Huh?" Anik made, at first not understanding what Candace meant.

Then she touched the three necklaces she wore, and felt them. All of them were simple, mainly made from wood and vines. One of them had a miniature statuette of a pine tree hanging down, the second one had a relatively crude statuette of three persons, one small and having a mound instead of legs, the next one wearing a blindfold, and the last was of a bigger woman. The two first were hugging, while the last one was nuzzling the neck of the blindfolded person in the middle.
The last necklace had lots of wooden pearls and small figurines of different real and mythological animals, their quality not as good as the pinetree, but better than the three persons. It had a small chisel-like tool hanging down from it.

"You mean these?" Anik said, stroking over the pine tree. "No, these three aren't really enchanted. They are more my personal treasure.
I have a dagger which is enchanted, though."

"I ... got it from wood elves, in another world.
... although it seems there is a connection to this world here. I heard mention of "Avinah" here, and that was another goddess on the world I traveled.

I got the dagger enchanted by a mage, though, so it would burn if I told it so."
