Lambda gave an affirmative grunt, then dialed again. After another short chat, she put the phone back down, giving Anik her attention. "I found a sighted guide. A local guy, quite helpful and shy. He's a civilian volunteer though, so I doubt he'll come with you to look at the body. He'll be here soon, and he gave me a number if you want to contact him."

 

[Demonjazz]

The man slowly slid his glaive onto his back. He took a deep breath before saying with a smile on his face "The name is Gregor Hartway of Nine Shrines Adventures, and Dines." Gregor looked irritated before quickly spluttering out "Glaive, not a spear. Important difference."

 

[Silence]

Anik sighed happily. "Thank you so very much!
so I guess we'll investigate the body first, and then he can start out helping me! Having his number would be nice.

Then we wait for Ella to bring us to the body."

 

[Vakra jal]

"Seems forever since I've seen a view that was nice, at least that stayed nice anyway. Ah, this line of thoughts. Makes me long for all I've missed. Dalahar shook his head "I wouldn't change anything, I guess i see no use in worrying about what might have been rather than what is" he smiled beneath his helmet "I'll make a difference here I know it"

 

[Chungus]

"Shouldn't we wait for the guide, first, Anik?"

Kuki asked on hearing Anik's suggestion.

"It would be annoying for the guide to come all the way here, then finding we are already gone, I think."

 

[Kirke]

Ella knocked on Lambda's door, and once again opened it without really waiting for an answer. "Hi, here I am. So, who's ready to go look at a dead guy?" - She said, grimacing at the thought of seeing the charred body again. My pay might be astronomical, but I deserve a raise after this shit dies down.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Hopefully I can find something of worth here." Candace commented. "This might be my big chance."

"I'll give you his number. You can call him and tell him your location when you want to meet." Lambda gave a wave to Ella as she entered.

 

[Slenn]

I think I'm now starting to get an idea of this Candace character.

"Well, I'm sure you'll figure out something, Tresh. I'm sure when we take you across the planet, you might be able to find something that'll help ease your mind."

 

[Silence]

?You may be right ...? Anik started answering to Kuki, but then was interrupted by Ella.

?Ever so ready!? she jokingly.said to her. ?But... do you want to borrow my blindfold whime being in there? We would not want you throwing up again.?

She gave Lambda her phone to type in the guys number.

Portal Room

"Okay, glaive then. Anyway, did you come through intentionally, or do you remember what happened before you arrived here?" the guard asked Gregor.

 

[Vakra jal]

"Thank you Shana" he said. "I pray I can find some redemption here"
His tone changed again to a more positive one as he drew both the Anathame and the power dagger. "No combat servitors here, guess I'll just have to use my imagination" he didn't want any skill to be anything less than optimal. Taking a few large steps back into space he held both knives in a reverse grip. With that he let his mind slip into a pattern as he conjures an imaginary foe to recieve his blows.

 

[Chungus]

"Oh. Well, it all works out, this way!"

Kuki said, upon hearing Lambda's solution, looking to Ella as she entered.

"Hi again. I'd like to come, definitely!"

They answered. Kuki didn't know what throwing up was, and so didn't get Anik's joke, wondering what Anik was talking about.

"Let's go, Anik."

Lambda entered the number, handing Anik the phone back. "There you go."

Candace looked to Shana idly.

 

[Kirke]

"I've seen the corpse before. It's ugly, but I wont throw up. Seeing a man turn into a monstrous beast is much more disturbing than a dead guy." - Ella said, before adding; "Do you want me to guide you out?"

 

[Vakra jal]

With his knives in such a manner he began practicing. His imaginary target taking a beating as he struck it with viscous knife blows. His size and bulk did little to slow him down and once in motion it was clear to see how fast he was. He grunted with each strike before
Coming to a stop. He reversed the grip on the knives into a conventional slicing grip and traded stabs for sweeping slashes. His imaginary foe fell to the ground lacerated and puntered.
Satisfied he was still proficient he nodded to himself in contentment before sheathing the blades

 

[Silence]

?Ah.
Umm ... sure, you can guide me. We'll be faster this way.? Anik said after thanking Lamba.

Trying to put her hand on Ellas arm, she said goodbye for now to Lambda.

Candace looked at Tresh's form, seeing what he was doing.

 

[Kirke]

Ella said goodbye to Lambda, and then helped Anik outside. She then guided her over to the others in the group, and explained what they planned to do. "No offence Dalahar, but I'd rather you come with us. I'd like to stay in your vicinity."

 

[Vakra jal]

In regards to form Tresh had little of a duellist in him. He fought like a brawler, the way he stabbed and cut intermixed with movements that would have hit a real opponent with his weight and bulk. Dalahar was not flashy or fancy like the Emperors children or Blood Angels. He fought to kill and when it came down to it he'd rather kill his foe than be held accountable to some kind of martial code. The way he slashed always cut low or wide, aiming for legs, arms in mid strike while he drove his body into the centre. A highly aggressive and brutal way of fighting. Any opponent strong enough to put up a fight would feel bullied and rushed, never given time to pause or think

Leaving the station interior, and seeing Dalahar, Kuki wondered if they could talk to Dalahar about his condition at some point, followed quickly by the thoughts of if it would be safe for them to do so.

"So, miss? Ella, was it?"

Kuki began after Ella addressed Dalahar.

"How long will it take to get to the mortuary?"
