Anik would find herself in a field, surrounded by grass. Some kind of animal, perhaps a pig, mooed nearby.

Cell

"Home. But since she was unwilling... I couldn't be too specific with her arrival location." Yauna replied, moving towards the sound of Blue's voice. "It would be easier to get her back when she's on your world though, right?"

 

[Silence]

Anik sighed, but was very confused. She stood, clicked with her tongue, and walked, towards the 'pig', hoping there was a road nearby.

[hr]

"... true. Kind of. Depends on where she landed." Blue coughed.

 

[Kirke]

With Anik no longer in the cell, the three guards inside opened up full auto to destroy the invaders. The mage would find his healing spell go off without a hitch, but the light shield found resistance as somebody tried to cancel it.

At the same time, the plane shift was being tracked as XPOL attempted to find out where Anik had been sent. The effort was continued despite what Yauna said, just in case. At the same time, two bounty requests were sent to the bounty shops, one for Dala and one for Anik. The requests stressed that the two were to be brought in peacefully and alive.

In a different dimensions, on a planet many light-years from Earth, a hunter stepped into a bounty shop. She idly looked over the available bounties until she saw one that caught her eye. Pulling down the note with a blindfolded woman on it, she stared at it for a moment before leaving. It was time to hunt.

As Anik approached the pig, she would find that it was a little bit smaller than a horse but definitely pig shaped.

Cell

Yauna attempted to cast Etherealness again, as quietly as she could, on herself, Blue and the mage before the bullets could do too much damage.

 

[Silence]

Anik patted the head of the pig.

[hr]

Blue gave a sign to the mage, while she was countering the counterspell the XPOL mage was casting, then said: "Be prepared." to Yauna.

While Blue kept the sorcerer occupied, the mage cast the teleportation spell again, back into the portal room. Not many, but some bullets would still connect, and only very few came through the barrier, then all were cast on the ethereal plane, and mere seconds later, teleported back.

The pig snuffled and nuzzled Anik a little. After a short time, Anik would hear a man's voice calling out, asking her who in the Nine Hells she was and why she was bothering the pigs.

Sameworld, Portal Room

Assuming the sorcerer in the base didn't manage to stop the trio at any point, Yauna would end the spell.

 

[Silence]

Anik stopped bothering the pig and turned to the man.
"Sorry. I was just ... brought here somehow. I don't know where this is, and the pigs were a sign of life. So I tried interacting with them."

Portal Room

"Well, that was nearly successful. Now you just need to find Anik, then we can close the portal." Blue said to Yauna after deactivating her device.

Avinah

Dala looked further into the port, looking for sign of passage to Vesh, or at least a counter to ask questions and buy tickets.

 

[Kirke]

With the attackers gone, the guards stopped as their magazines emptied. Ella pushed through the group of guards outside and went inside, looking at the destruction caused. "Merde..."

"You don't know how you got here, eh? Probably some wizardy shit. Don't mess with wizards, that's what everyone with a headful of brains says." the man replied. "Where'd you come from, then?"

Sameworld, Portal Room

"Do you even need the portal now?" Yauna asked. "And, I should be able to track down where Anik was sent but I'll need to communicate with my patron to do so."

Femesh Daer

Dala would see a desk where she could purchase tickets for a ship, with the board on the back wall listing times. They did, indeed, include times for ships to Vesh.

 

[Silence]

"That's what my brain says too." Anik said. "But you can't do much if some of them just suddenly pop up in your room.
And I'm from earth ... from Brazil, if that means anything to you."

Portal Room

"Well, the thing is - we don't need this portal, but we still keep to our agreements. Once we have Anik, we will close the portal. Do we have Anik?
Take as much time as you want."

[hr]

Avinah

Dala purchased two tickets to Vesh, preferably the port closest to the city of the prosthetics maker, and said to Candace she should carry the tickets.
Then she waited until the ship would arrive.

"Well, I know what earth is." the man said, kicking a bit of dirt with his boot. "Never heard of Brazil, though."

Sameworld, Portal Room

"Point made." Yauna said, as she moved towards the portal.

Femesh Daer

Dala would be able to get a ship to a port near Pakenne, where the prosthetics maker was. However, she would require a passport to board the ship, when it arrived.

 

[Silence]

"It's a country in the south. Umm ... but what place is this, then? Do you know of ways to travel back to earth, too?"

[hr]

Portal Room

Blue and the mage followed Yauna through the portal, back into the throne room.

Avinah

Dala rolled her eyes. [color=e50000]"Do you have a passport, Candace?"[/color] she asked her.

Candace checked her pockets, finding her passport out of Saxom. "Will they even accept this? You said yourself, we are from another world."

 

[Silence]

[color=e50000]"Well, I hope so. It's good that you have one, at least.
I only have one from earth."[/color] Dala said. She summoned it, through breathing out and holding it between her teeth.
[color=e50000]"Cmn you hold onm mo mthis?"[/color] she asked, holding it to Candace.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Candace grabbed it, looking at it to check for bite marks and/or drool.

 

[Silence]

[color=e50000]"Thank you."[/color] Dala had been very careful, and there were no bite marks - at least no new ones - and not really any drool.
[color=e50000]"Ready to go to Pekenna? Or should we look for an inn to wait, before going on the ship, first?"[/color]

"I admit, some time to rest would be tempting after the events of the last few days..." Candace said wistfully. "Perhaps some exploration around the town? If this place is a hub of activity from other worlds, there may be someone or something important or powerful here."

 

[Drakmorg]

"That's not what I mean." Nina groaned and lowered her voice. "There's... parts of myself that I can't control. And I have to hurt people just to keep going."

"I... I don't know any more." Nina's gaze started to droop. "Before coming here all I wanted was to get more powerful. Now that I know that's self-destructive... I don't really know what to do..."

 

[Silence]

Avinah

Dala nodded. [color=e50000]"We can do this. Let us look around for the center of town, for the marketplace and shops. Maybe they sell new things."[/color] And so, she started to do this.

Otherworld

The planeswalker was quiet for a while, just thinking. Then he asked: [color=0404B4]"How much do you have to hurt people? Do you have to kill them? And can you hurt only animals too, or does it have to be people?"[/color]

Candace followed, really starting to notice and regret her lack of funds.
