"Well I found something. There wasn't much on the first people that had come here, at least in terms of names and pictures. However there was one description that matched the ID of a scientist from my universe from 500 years ago. Her name was Emily Mason and... now I know that she is the EBF." She paused as she turned to Zev, looking a little glum. "I'm sorry, it's just that I realize this information doesn't matter that much to anyone outside my universe. But her disappearance nearing the end of her life was a big mystery to a lot of people. And now those rumors turned out to be true."

After some time, the caravan would come to a stop and Anik would be informed that they had arrived at the Library.

[color=660099]"Well, you solved a mystery. That's gotta count for something, right?"[/color] Zev asked, carrying her books over to Shana. [color=660099]"And, I learned some things, too. Like that this world has smut-peddling clowns!"[/color]

Candace would find a relatively simple map, with a YOU ARE HERE arrow pointing at the location of the museum.

Anik thanked the driver, then got off the caravan. She clicked with her tongue, trying to find the entrance to this library somewhere on the side of the road.

[color=e50000]"I don't know if a history museum has details on functionality."[/color] Dala stated as she followed Candace.

 

[Slenn]

Shana made a soft chuckle at her first comment. But she was confused by her second one.

"Wait, you mean like a brothel? Are there not prostitutes where you come from?"

"True, but something to give us an idea of the city would be useful regardless." Candace stated, looking over the map, unaware it was probably one of those cheap guady plastic tourist leaflet ones.

Anik would find herself standing in front of two large wooden doors, situated in the middle of a tall stone wall. She would then hear the sound of wood scraping on wood, as a slit was opened up.

"What business do you have here?" the voice on the other sound asked, the accent notably different than the ones Anik had previously encountered..

[color=660099]"We have prostitutes and brothels back home. No, I'm talking about this!"[/color] Zev held one of the books out so Shana could see the cover, and pointed at the 'Harlequin' logo. [color=660099]"Smut-peddling clowns."[/color]

[color=e50000]"We're not planning on staying here a long time."[/color] Dala replied. [color=e50000]"The ship should arrive soon, we could only look around in the museum."[/color]

Anik stepped near the voice, making herself known. "Greetings. I ... come from a different world, and I wanted to ask for help from some sorcerers, to get back home.

And I was told you might have a possibility here."

 

[Slenn]

"A jester is smutty to you? Forgive me for my misunderstanding, but you can try and explain this to me on our way to the museum." She went out towards the exit. "Is the content of the book smutty?"

"A different world? Hmm... that sounds like it's related to one of the experiments we performed a short while back." the voice said, before opening the door. "Come in. We should be able to help."

[color=660099]"You bet it is. Listen!"[/color] Zev replied, as she followed Shana. [color=660099]"This world's vampire stories are really strange. Even the ones that aren't porn."[/color]

Holent rolled his eyes at Blue's comment, briefly taking on a annoyed expression. How proffessional.

Seeing nothing on the matter, Holent shook his head, and continued, ignoring the comment. "Then, contact us when you and your people are ready. We would like our concealment harnesses delivered back, too.

And on a final note, if you must kill Yauna, or have it done, try not to damage the head. This way, the body can be re-purposed, and made to divulge where Anik has been sent to."

 

[Slenn]

"Well, to be perfectly frank that's not surprising considering the fact that my idea of a vampire clashed with what you were. Did you pick up on some of the first vampire stories like Dracula?"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"...you are right. Come on then. This blasita thing may be limited here, but there are other exhibits elsewhere that could be interesting."

"Thank you." Anik answered, and went inside, clicking while doing so.

"They will be delivered immediately." Blue said. "And we are ready right now, I am tired of waiting.

Alright, I will make sure of this. If I ever find her again."

As Shana and Zevrisya left the library, a blonde woman with some green, dyed, streaks in her hair stared at them, mostly at Shana's ears. She was of average height, with a noticeably big chest.
She wore average canadian clothing.

[color=e50000]"Good to see you understand reasoning."[/color] Dala said, slightly joking, and followed Candace.

 

[Slenn]

Shana took note of the green colored woman with hair, finding it a little uncomfortable that she was being stared at.

"Excuse me? Can we help you?"

The woman averted her gaze as Shana spoke to her, slightly embarrassed that her staring had been this obvious.
[color=99d039]"Sorry."[/color] she said with a german accent. [color=99d039]"I just ... I had heard extradimensionals had arrived in this city, and ... I was wondering if you were one, with the furry ears and all ..."[/color]

"Uhhh... yes. And who might you be?" She said, still not quite certain of the encounter.

[color=99d039]"I'm Sarah. I'm just am on holiday here, in Canada.
I was always fascinated by the portals and encounters with other beings. So I took a stroll around here.

... I'm sorry for staring."[/color] Sarah said, definitely shy, hands behind her back.

Anik would be led through the compound, into a large building with vaulted ceilings in the main hall. She would then be guided to a smaller office room, where a single woman was seated. "And who is this?" the woman asked, her gaze falling on Anik. Before the guard could answer, the woman said to Anik, "Tell me, who are you?"

[color=660099]"Oh, yeah, I looked at that stuff too. Yeah, these vampires are odd."[/color] Zev asked. When the green-haired woman started staring, Zev looked her over quickly. [color=660099]"Well, nice to meet you, I suppose. This is a nicer reception than I'm used to, at least."[/color] she cackled.

"I forgive you, but just be sure to ask if you're taking pictures."
