After the dust settled, Sylvia was visible standing on the ground in a small crater, slowly standing up from a squatting position. A sigh of relief was heard through her speakers, followed by,

"That was a close one..."

Nova had jogged over to check on Sylvia, seeming concerned, but not overly so. "You alright down there?"

"Yeah, pretty sure. Even with the shock absorbers I'm gonna feel that in the morning though..."

Nova winced as she heard explosions in the distance.

Cybil had run over to see how Faa was doing. [color=9f2089]"Hang in there, we're gonna get you help as soon as possible."[/color] She attempted to reassure him after seeing his condition.
[color=9f2089]"Look, we really don't have time for whatever this is right now. So if you could just turn your creepy ass around and head back where you came from, we would all appreciate it."[/color] She impatiently replied to the woman.

"Oh, I know that feeling..." Reinhardt winced in sympathy. "At least you are alright."

"That's what I was doing. And I'm not with her." I say, pointing to the shockingly pretty woman quietly menacing us all. I already knew I didn't like her. Bad vibes.

Helena's does indeed possess blood in the same manner of a normal human albeit with a more complex and altered system of circulation due to the presence of body modifications. "Whatever XPOL has promised I can pay more for you just to leave right now. This isn't your fight." She says folding her arms. Councilor, objectives achieved. Withdrawing she nodded her head when she received the transmission. "You will never get the prince here there in time. I've made sure of that.......::just as I've ensured the continuation and escalation of this conflict"

Dalahar remained silent as he walked a tad close to Helena.

Faa doesn't take his eyes off Helena, watching for any movement despite not being able to dodge or react that well right now. "My wing is damaged" he grunted. "I'll be fine, in a day or two anyway" he then addressed Helena "You were the one who took me aren't you? This is all your fault" his voice tuned to a snarl.

Helena sketched a mocking curtsy, a faint smile on her lips. "Guilty as charged"

Ella was surprised to see Dalahar, but Helena's speech got her attention and she approached the woman, raising her blaster rifle. The three pilots drew their sidearms and stood ready as well. "Lie down on your stomach with arms stretched out. I am placing you under arrest for a whole bunch of reasons." She could barely contain her anger, and she was very tempted to just shoot the woman.

"I'm no psychic, but I don't envision that going well for you guys." I say to the folks trying to "arrest" the pretty lady. " I'm fairly certain she won't go quietly."

Zevrisya grinned at Helena, baring her fangs, and began approaching her slowly. The only thing that prevented her from charging were the XPOL agents drawing their weaponry. [color=60099]"Her body has been mutilated, internally. Her blood flow is... wrong."[/color] she informed the others.

Helena slowly raises her hands. "Guilty of nothing other than fulfilling contractual obligations. Tombstone is a business, my actions were fully sanctioned and signed off by the US government." She said as if she just remembered before lowering her hands.

Faa growls "tyr gol." He cursed "why did you do this? Why start this? You've gotten so many people, Scath and Hrem, to die." Faa's adrenaline was surging due to his pain and fuelled his irrational mood.

Helena looked at the the Scath seeing in him the perfect reason that the Scath were chosen for this operation. "People fear difference. It's a characteristically human thing. Anyone can say what they will about advancement here but in reality it's going nowhere. It's easy to accept a humanoid interdimensional, understand them, empathise with them." She gestured towards Faa "You however, are perfect. All it takes is twisted facts, a little bit of bias, a few people in the right places and honeyed words into the right ears and public opinion is manufactured. I've turned your kind into a legion of monsters and the whole world sees you that way. After this day whenever anyone hears the word interdimensional they will picture a reptilian snout with a snarling maw and burning eyes, of an invasion of horrific monsters from another world."

She smirked slightly "that was a long trek over here for you all wasn't it? A lot has happened since then. Let me just stop jamming your comms and Internet for a second so you can see"
A few moments later anyone with Internet would be inundated with large amounts of news on the invasion. Click bait articles, biased passages and negative opinions swelled. Communication wise they would recieve word that the Scath had attacked with a full invasion force after negotiations broke down and that the force was carving it's way towards Johanusburg cutrently. "It fells bad to be out of the loop i know"

Her eyes flashed with anger at Zevrisyas comment on mutilation. "This is perfection you creature." She said calmly "I am more than human. My name is Helena and I am Post-human"

"Well, Helena, as a good American and citizen of a world, if not this exact one, I feel slightly compelled to...well I'm not your biggest fan right now." I say to the pompous *****. I knew I didn't like her.

"If you have the authority, I'd suggest shooting her now and saving everyone a lot of trouble." I say to the lady with the strange rifle.

Hearing what Helena said, Sarah spoke a few words into her mask, and her Iphone gave voice output, reading the news about the failed negotiations.

Sarah thought for a moment, then landed a bit away - then took her phone, and made photos of the whole commotion.

[color=99d039]"We'll see about these failed negotiations."[/color] she stated - then posted the pictures on her twitter, her facebook and her instagrams, and whichever social media was widely known.

We need to stay calm. Most extradimensionals are friendly. These ones want their prince back - and XPOL is trying to get him to them, to start the negotiations. I repeat: Negotiations did not yet occur. We are sabotaged by some of our own.

While Sarah's influence was not amazing, it was still quite big - the fame of being born rich played its part. And she had proof - photos - contrary to each other source of clickbait.

She ended with a video, showing the event in motion, to make a fake much more unlikely. She sent it, then kept on filming.

Sylvia replied to Reinhardt and Nova. With that, Nova and Sylvia made their way over to where everyone else was gathering.

Deciding to just ignore Helena, Cybil said to Faa, [color=9f2089]"I get the feeling we can't afford to just sit here for that long."[/color] Turning to everyone else, she asked, [color=9f2089]"Anyone have any ideas to how we can get moving?"[/color]

"You're not in America." - Ella replied coldly, before firing her blaster at stun setting. The three pilots raised their pistols, ready to fire if the stun bolt did not do the trick.

Sarah's post pops up in in Helenas internal data connection. "You think I'm lying do you? My agents ensured the breakdown of negotiations an hour ago, the Scaths main invasion force arrived 2 hours ago and is sweeping across South Africa as we speak" she gestures to the south east. "Forecast doesn't call for clouds today, I wonder what that is over there? The prince here can see it at this distance."

Faa looked in the direction indicated trying to discern what he was looking at.

"I'll save you all a bit of trouble." Videos of the Scath began circulating from various sources of footage around their entry point. The Scath descending upon any form of civilisation they came across for miles, their numbers bolstered by a full invasion force. "It was never enough to pretend. A real war had to happen. Both sides were given the needed pushes and coaxes. Never fear, my own military units will deployed against the Scath soon. And they will be wiped out. Humanity retains its political prisoner and can demand anything from the Scath in return. I've made the Scath monsters yes, I'll make Tombstone the force that changes the tides of war." She looked up at Sarah. "While I remember.......:there we go." Sarah's social media accounts were hacked by Helena. In cyberspace she edited all footage of herself out of anything before killing the battery of the device. She handed over the IP addresses and accounts to her technicians digital for more in depth censoring and alteration.
"Electronic warfare is my specialty. Don't expect to simply be able to use anything with any form connectivity around me. You're skyrangers were a challenge for sure but a phone is trivial"

Seemingly distracted for a moment the stun bolt impacts her square in the chest. While the human part of her nervous system is indeed electrified, her dampened cybernetics restrict the flow of information to the brain that would usually shut down the body due to electrical trauma. She has a few moments of distance while her countermeasures work against the hit. "That wasn't nice" she said afterwards "I wanted to resolve this in a civilised manner, I came unarmed and you won't even let me get to my point." She began exuding a faint black mist from her sleeves that lazily drifted towards Ella and the pilots.

Faa looked away from the cloud and at Cybil. "She's right" he murmured "that's not a cloud. We have to move now.....I can barely walk through this pain though"

"I think bullets are, perhaps, the better solution here." I say, silently hoping I don't need to get directly involved with taking down this...Thing parading around in a human guise. But I'm more than ready to do so. I carefully try and edge into the woman's blindspot and move a little closer. My aim isn't the best, after all.
