"Well, they both tend to use electric guitars, yes. But classic rock and metal are pretty distinctly different. I could play some on my phone if you like?"
After a short period of consideration, Sarah stepped around a corner, and started to put sunscreen on.

Anik frowned. "I already work for him! What does he want!" she exclaimed. "And XPOL tried to keep me safe from him, but they also wanted to put me through some kind of trial. But it was just a formality, I would have gone free soon.
So ... what do they still want from me?! They clearly failed. Fucking humans. And the woman in this library too! All betray me! Damnit!
I just want to go home ..." she stated. "None of them ever really helped me."
"Fair enough." I say as I whip out my one and start browsing my music library. I ponder the question of what to play, trying to find something appealing. I decide on a slightly more modern song, knowing Shana won't know the difference. So I begin playing Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes, at a reasonable volume.
Ory'hara took a step back, holding her hands up. "Hey, if you want to go home, I can help you go home. It's the least I can do for the help you gave me last time we met."
OOC: Oh god, that song's been around since I was in high school.
"Sounds interesting enough. I guess the sound of an electric guitar just doesn't resonate with me. Maybe because it's rigid. I don't have headsets, but I'll play the ambient music out the speaker of my personal computer."
OOC: A radio station for ambient music to get an idea.

Anik smiled, but she whispered: "I would like it. But I don't think you are able to get me out of here. Be careful ... she can read your mind, and control your body." She frowned, then. "She would be mad ..."
"To be fair, there's a lot you can do with an electric guitar. But if it doesn't work for you, it doesn't work for you." I say with a shrug. "Perhaps an acoustic guitar might be more up your alley."
"Mmmm, that's fair. I just prefer quiet things I guess." She opened up her pocket computer, which was about the size and shape of a portable flip-open game console, and played some ambient music. "I lie on my back at home with this on and let the world's gravity sink in."
Ory'hara smiled back grimly; "Nothing ventured, nothing gained. It'll take an hour, slightly less, for my shuttle to get here. If she's as powerful as you say, I don't think we should stick around and wait for it. What do you think?" As she spoke, she made doubly sure that she was being as elusive as possible. She'd yet to meet someone who could read her thoughts, but she was keenly aware someday had to be the first.
"Well, maybe straight up classical is more for you. If only I had a cello. Or a violin. Or a piano. Or even an acoustic guitar." I say wistfully, missing my main hobby already.
"Philistine." I say to the vampire, hoping she doesn't ask what it means.
Anik felt for, then grabbed Ory'Haras arm. "Why do you think I look this way? It's her spell! She will track us down easily in an hour. In half of the time.
I can't risk your life ..." Her facial expression looked pleading, but fearful, as if she wanted to try it, despite having no hope about escaping.
Lambda sat quietly, not really being a musical person. Reinhardt, on the other hand, looked as disappointed as one could in a set of giant power armour. "Bah, you kids today. You should listen to the classics, like Hasslehoff!"
"I prefer reading." Lambda told Taner. Reinhardt also looked to Taner. "Have you even HEARD Night Rocker?!" Reinhardt asked, halfway between geeking out and accusing Taner of some heinous crime, then briefly turned to Shana to tell her "2076." before he resumed staring Taner down.
Zev cocked her head slightly, eyebrow raised, and let out a small "Eh?" She then asked, "What's a philistine? And a Hasselhoff?"
