What about the Imp wearing a cape with an "E" on it? With a +6 flame sheild and +12 mace of grammar?

Well, obviously the "Imp" from ZP should be the mascot.
I support this.

No matter how you look at it, Yahtzee is almost solely responsible for the explosion of people who have signed up for this site. Mind you that most of these flies which have come to feast on this proverbial sugar only create their accounts to try and post first for his videos.

Possibly, but as I said in my earlier post, ZP doesn't represent the entire website. Sure the Imp may be universally recognisable as a ZP mascot, but it doesn't represent The Escapist. We need something that can show people what all The Escapist is about, not just ZP, cause this site has grown into so much more than that!

Besides, ZP's influence is beginning to fall, with so many more things going on on the site.

I have a superior mascot to all... THE FACEPALM! Because, a lot of people facepalm while using The Escapist. So, if our mascot is a facepalm, it's like a warning before the Jackass films: your aware of what your about to endure, prepare to skull fracturing in [small]3..2...1...[/small]
YAY you listened to me! and you saved my thread from being drowned by those crappy repeat threads! MY HERO!

The imp won't work since it is ZP's mascot. The Escapist should be known for more than just ZP, which everyone would associate The Escapist and ZP in the wrong way. When I see the E I think The Escapist. When I see the imp I think of ZP. They should not be thought of at the same level.

An e?

Would that work?
no, that is a terrible idea. [/sarcasm] If we need a mascot (which we don't) lets just choose the Echidna

this.
honestly it seems like ZP is the most popular and the imp is the most popular figure. other than Yahtzee himself but who wants to see him? haha
me :p
Naaah. Not ZP stuff, people allready praise him too much. I'm personaly starting to hate him because people love him and praise him as a reviwer. While he actualy appears to suck at reviewing in my opinion. He is pretty fun to watch from time to time tho.

More on topic: A person facepalming.

How about Pop-Eye the Sailor? He's my school's mascot (Well, our mascot's name is Tommy Tar. He just looks a lot like Pop-Eye. We didn't steal Pop-Eye because we started back in 1929) and we have a statue of him.
