Peter had burst into laughter after the explosion, but stopped after Yoje called out to him. "Ah... Yoje? Huh, good to see you. Been running into most of you guys now. Nice to see you're ok. And you brought Hal with you, I see." He turned and saw a bunch of Marines carrying off Gulligan. "...He isn't a threat anymore. By the time he's recovered, I'll be long gone. Anyway..." he turned to the rooftop where the previous fight had been taking place. He then noticed a bird flying through the air. "Uh oh..." That might be a bad sign. Maybe I should go check that out...

Grana looked down at Alaena, who was luckily still alive. "I might start believing in God afterall. You were fighting Inshi, when some idiot new Marine damn near leveled the entire block. He had a portable cannon, with which he blasted you and Inishi. I found you a couple of blocks away from your point of origin. It seems you got lucky; the cannonball merely grazed you, which is the only reason you're able to listen to me ramble at all. I applied tourniquets to whatever wounds I could find, but there's a lot of blood and I don't know any more internal anatomy than that of a fish, so I'm bringing you to a doctor." Just then, Fletch began to shriek for all he was worth. "Good Birdy!" Grana exclaimed as he changed his directions, not even bothering with the door but rather passing right through it. Grana cut quite a commanding figure, with Alaena's bow and covered in blood. "Someone get me a doctor, quick! She got caught in a crossfire between the Yarrakona and Buderos!" Grana sighed with relief as he saw multiple doctor rush to aid him. Fletch once again landed on Grana's shoulder, peering down at his injured mistress.

Alaena nodded at Grana's explanation, trying to take it all in before she heard Fletch making a commotion nearby. She started to sink back into unconsciousness, barely hearing Grana explain the situation to the staff before succumbing to it. The family of doctors immediately understood the situation, having many times treated civilians who had been caught in the crossfire between the two families. They moved Alaena onto a stretcher, getting her connected to a few IVs before rolling her down to the vacant emergency room. One of the family, probably a son due to his relative youth, told Grana to take a seat in the waiting room. He also handed him a form to fill out for Alaena, mentioning something about how this would probably be the first of many people coming if the families were involved.

Fletch watched as the man walked away to go and help out, uneasily moving around on Grana's shoulder before jumping off to look around.

The cannonball that ripped through the room of the inn sent Sammi diving to the ground. Unfortunately she landed on her arm which hurt immensely. This delayed her move to the newly expanded window to see what the hell had managed to pull off such destruction. When she finally got to the edge of the remaining floor, she saw Peter going toe to toe with a rather large Marine, others watching on. Sammi tried to ready her ropes, at least to a level to where they might be helpful, but the large pig took himself out of the fight. His own weapon discharged right in his face. Typical Marines. What a bunch of idiots.

Once the dust settled, the hopper and the merchant made an appearance in the streets. Seems like the whole gang is getting back together. Sammi commanded once of her ropes to swing over an exposed crossbeam, then lowered herself down onto the streets below. "So, what the hell was that all about Captain? And what are we going to do now that this place has been trashed?"

Peter had noticed the bird was no longer there, but started walking towards where it was. "Some Marine was acting like an idiot. Took care of him, so he won't be hurting anyone else. Now then, I think I saw something... I'm going to go check that out." [hr]
Inshi and his men could now see the Ivory Oyster ahead of them. "Faster, you fools..." he ordered. "Sir, what exactly is it you're going after?" He didn't answer, trying to walk even faster.

Grana mumbled as he began to fill out what little information he knew about Alaena on the sheet. "Place of birth? Birthdate? How am I supposed to know this stuff? Screw it, I'll make up the unimportant stuff as I go along." Finally Grana finished the sheet and handed it to the young woman at the desk. "Are-Are you the Night Archer, by any chance?" Grana was tempted to say yes, but somehow a doctor's clinic seemed even less a place to lie than a church. "No. The Night Archer is a better person than me by far. I'm just a passerby who got caught up in all this." The young woman seemed a bit dejected, but nonetheless managed a smile at Grana before filing the sheet. Grana then began the waiting game in the lounge, standing so as to not get blood on the furniture. "Enjoy life now, Tozani. The start of Alaena's recovery will be the end of your life. I hope for your sake you have fine brandy in one hand and a premium cigar in the other, because life's little pleasures are about to be lost to you."

Yoje followed Peter in the direction of the hawk. "So, where's the rest of the crew? and how did you end up fighting that marine?"

Peter had gotten to what looked like a clinic. "I ran into someone before. I'm expecting that person to be here." He walked in and saw Grana. "Huh. Was not expecting that. Grana, what are you doing here?"

Grana turned around, startled by the use of his name. "Ah. Evenin', Peter. What am I doing here? That is a very good question, to which I am pissEd because I actually know the answer. You know that fool of a Marine that was swinging around his oversized cannon to compensate for something else? In the midst of a drunken passion, the idiot fired his cannon at Inshi and Alaena, who were fighting. I have no idea what happened to Oyabun, but Alaena seemed to be wounded pretty bad after being sent flying. I found her and Tozani tried to double-cross me, sending just two of his men to try and kill me while I was trying to make sure Alaena didn't bleed to death."

Grana took a deep breath before continuing. "I killed those bastards, but not before making one of them say to his boss that I was dead. That bought me some time, so I sent Alaena's falcon out to scout for a hospital, which led me here. I filled out some forms and that's pretty much everything you need to know." Grana's ramblings served to ensure his mouth didn't give away any of his future plans, even I they were fairly obvious. Suddenly, a thought appeared to Alaena. "Oh, and by the way. Alaena has some serious connections." Grana lowered his voice so that only Peter and Yoje could hear. "Somehow she's gotten ahold of Seastone bullets. That's some serious stuff; they're death in a condensed form for any Devil Fruit users. Certainly useful against a Logia- it would stop him right in his tracks."

Yoje was confused. Apparently, he'd missed a lot. "Hold on, who's Alaena? And how does she have seastone? Marine background?"

"Right, I need to bring you up to speed..." he said to Yoje. "Ok, she's someone who has been causing a bit of trouble for the two gangs here. I found her when she was injured and me and Grana helped get her healthy again. She ran off like an idiot and apparently fought Inshi of the Yarrakona family. And it sounds like Grana had a run-in with Tozani. Now, all this other stuff? This is the first I've heard of that. Still, we need to take a minute to regroup, try and get a handle on the situation..."
[hr]
After arriving back at the Oyster, Inshi shooed off the men escorting him. He went to the elevator and leaned against the wall. He coughed a couple times and clutched his wounds, fumbling through his pockets and pulled out a key. Once it had reached the top floor, he noticed a couple men there, dressed better than most of the grunts.
[hr]
Those who escorted Inshi to the resort went back on the streets, talking to themselves. "Who the hell could have done this to the Oyabun?" "We need to find some way to deal with this." "And whoever did this must have someone hiding them." "Look, they also got injured, so maybe we need to look around." One of them hesitated. "Maybe... maybe some of the Buderos might know something."

While most of the doctors went back to working on other patients now that the majority of Alaena's injuries were mended, a few remain to finish up bandaging the numerous cuts and bruises still left. One of them was wrapping her arm when he was grabbed by Alaena, a frightened yelp emitting from his mouth. "Relax. I...what's going on?" she asked him, the doctor looking afraid until she let go of him.

"You're being tended to after you were caught in a family crossfire. Or so the man who brought you here told us," he muttered, adding, "I can go and get him for you."
"No, I'll be fine thank you. Why are there bandages over my eye?" she asked, holding onto the sheets tightly to brace herself for what she knew was coming.
"Because, along with the dozen of cuts caused by shrapnel there you...also lost that eye," the doctor replied calmly.
"Was it completely gone, or could it have possibly been saved?" she asked after a moment to compose herself, not wanting to lash out at the doctor. When she heard him say that there was nothing that could be done she shooed him away, lying back against her bed. She stayed there in silence for a moment before taking the IV out, and slowly getting off the bed. After rummaging through some cabinets she found a shirt and a pair of pants to wear, putting them on carefully before looking around the room again. She took any supplies she needed to restock her own medical wares, placing them into a plastic box as she went to the door. She took a few deep breaths to compose herself before walking out and heading back to the front.

She wasn't surprised to see Grana still waiting there, though she was surprised to see Peter now there too. "Peter, Grana," she said, nodding her head at them in acknowledgment. She called over Fletch who happily flew over to her, getting a few quick pets before being told to go and get 15,000 beli out of one of her bags still at the tower. He shrieked and flew out the door to go and do what he was told.

Alaena turned back to the group, setting down the supplies on a chair before asking Grana for her things back. "I appreciate your helping of me, both by bringing me here and taking care of my things. Seems I'll be in debt to half your crew by tomorrow at this rate Peter," she said.

"Alright, now that the way is clear we can finally get to the inn eh?" Hal said turning back to Yoje, only to find that he was following Peter off somewhere. With a shrug, he turned back to the inn but on closer inspection it seemed as though it had suffered some damage in the fight. "Dammit, that place is gonna be real drafty now..." He muttered under his breath, trying to think of somewhere else he could go.

Well... The ass kicking pirates seemed like a safe bet. Better stick with them for now. Hal thought, before turning and running after Peter and Yoje. He caught up to them outside of what looked like a clinic, which they entered. He didn't want to risk pissing them off by butting into their personal stuff, so he lit up another cigarette and waited outsied for them.

"It's not a problem. Still, hopefully you aren't going to be so reckless from now on." He gestured her to the others, mostly Yoje and Hal outside. "I'll let you all get acquainted on your own time. Right now, we need to head back to head back to the inn. I'm gonna get us a new room, and once that's done, we need to come up with a plan. We could have just lied low until my ship was fixed, but thanks to Grana and the recent actions of the Marines, that option is going to be a lot more difficult. So if we're going to fight them, we're going to at least need a plan."

"Well I hope you and your crew the best, but I still have things to do. And while I might not be in top form, I know for a fact Inshi is close to being dead. I plan on at least finishing him...though I'll just try to blow the damn place up instead of quietly now," Alaena replied to Peter, looking over at the other people Peter had gestured to. It was then Fletch came in, carrying a wad of beli with him that he dropped for Alaena to catch. She thanked the bird and gave it to the receptionist, both for the help she received and the supplies.

"It should be more than enough," Alaena told the woman, noticing that there was a form barely filled out with her name on it. She took it and crumbled it up before putting it inside of the plastic case she was carrying. "Don't remember anything that was written on there miss."

Peter grabbed Alaena and held her back. "Look, you're in no condition to be fighting right now, let alone go to their main base of operations. Especially not on your own. I know you think shooting arrows at things until they stop moving is going to solve all our problems, but it's only going to serve to get you killed. I can't just let you go again knowing this is what happened the last time I did."

He turned to the others. "Come on, everyone. The inn isn't that far from here. Grana, while we're walking there, give everyone a brief update on whatever bullshit you caused with the Budero family. I need to think up a plan, and for that I need all the info I can get."

Hearing the lady he didn't know talk about taking the fight to Inshi and blowing up his base brought a grin to Hal's face. Yeah, you do that sweetheart! That'll make the Budero and the Yarrakona forget all about ol' Hal. But his hopes were dashed when Peter stopped her and insisted they all go to the inn. With a sigh, he tossed what was left of his cigarette on the ground and stomped it out before following Peter.

"Wait wait wait! The Budero family is after you guys now too? Is nobody on this island safe from this shitstorm that.... Has suddenly broken out." Hal said, stopping himself from saying the Night Archer had started it all. Based on what they had all been talking about, he figured it was probably the new girl. And if he was right, he really didn't want to get on her bad side.

Jacque had been running aimlessly in the alleyway as he clearly does not want to admit that he's lost. He had been peaking out of it to see what going on from the street. He couldn't tell much what's going on other than people running franticly like if they were trying to find someone.

Once he back in the alleyway he moan "GRRR! That's it! I'm lost! I have no idea where Pete or the others are! I need to find a safe place to recollect me thought twoo."

From the end of alleyway he's in he saw an inn from a far distance. He decided to head there praying that the people inside aren't aware of his wanted poster as he walks toward it.

Alaena stopped and stared with her unbandaged eye at Peter after he told her not to go, looking back between his face and the hand holding onto her. There was a confused look that she had as she looked between the two, looking like this had never happened to her before. She seemed to not be sure whether to just stab Peter and leave, or if there was another option that she could take. It took her a moment before shrugging off his hand and saying, "Fine."

Her attention than turned to the man who had spoken up, eying him for a moment before muttering something about how she knew who this 'crook' was.

Yoje walked up to Alaena and offered a hand. "Nice to meet you. I'm Yoje, another member of Peter's crew. You know, if you're trying to fight the gangs on this island, having us on your side can only help. Especially when you're injured this badly."
