Wait, no mention of The Perry Bible Fellowship?

That comic is fucking amazing, if you are fan of Cyanide and Happiness or any other dark humor comic you really need to check it out.

Here is a preview:
This one is awesome.

I'll plug a less obvious one that I really like - feel afraid comic [http://feelafraidcomic.com/].

It doesn't update that frequently but I really like its irreverent, quite dark style. I'd recommend it to you josemlopes.

One of the few webcomics ever to get a real chuckle out of me.

As someone who isn't even into webcomics much, I can't approve of the xkcd suggestion more highly. You'll probably want a tab of Wikipedia and a tab of explain xkcd [http://www.explainxkcd.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page] open at all times unless you're totally omniscient, but the strange appeal of successfully puzzling through the more complex of the jokes really grows on you after awhile, and the underlying sentiments throughout it all are legitimately inspiring. Alongside WALL-E, it was xkcd that first taught me to truly appreciate beauty - not bad for a stick figure comic.

they have probably all been mentioned but i will second (or third? how about just put my vote in) any of the following:

Looking for Group: http://www.lfgcomic.com/
ChimneySpeak: http://chimneyspeak.com/ (not safe for work...at all)
Goblins: http://www.goblinscomic.com/

beyond that, if you can deal with a very well crafted story, entertaining artwork, but an extremely haphazard updating schedule

Power Nap: http://www.powernapcomic.com/

Is exceptional on multiple levels.

EDIT: looks like rastelin beat me to one of them (nice roger avatar btw)

Just today I stumbled upon a couple more webcomics bundled onto one website. I recommend Attica from this website: http://www.beyondrealitymedia.com/

Other than that...Nuzlocke: Pokemon Hard Mode if you're looking for an interesting pokemon comic. Art improves drastically over time.

Edit: On the topic of webcomics, does anyone know when volume 2 of A Miracle of Science is supposed to come out? Did the author and/or artist disappear?
