Female Friend: "Do you pluck your eyebrows?"

Me: "No...?"

Female Friend: "Wow."

Shockingly, not the first time someone has said something like that to me. Happens often because I have AWESOME eyebrows. :D

"It was a pleasure working with you"

This from a former colleague who just doesn't do compliments. In fact he was kinda the angry-guy-who-hates-everyone of the floor (though he was actually a great guy to work with).

I was so taken aback I actually didn't manage to say anything coherent after that.

An old lady at a nursing home once said to me,

"You have such nice shoulders."

I'm still feel very confused and awkward about that all these years later.

After talking to a friend of a friend that was female a few times over msn, she asked me to go on webcam to see what I looked like, so I did. she then said:

"Whoa you're way hotter than I expected you to be!"
"Err... Explain?"
"Well you seem like one of those guys that's really nice and stuff but are really ugly so they wouldn't get a girlfriend. But you got the best of both worlds!"

The most weirded out I've ever been.

I was told by a drunken woman that "You have the Nicest Aura I've ever seen".
It's not only that this comment is so random that made it weird, but what happened before that.
I was walking in to this dinner party a little late, so it was packed with other people, and as soon as walked in this lady immediately spun her head around, looked at me (like she was looking at a life sized gold statue),got up out of her chair, and came all the way over to me. After that she wouldn?t leave my side for the whole night.

An old woman (complete stranger) at a party once told my boyfriend I looked about ten or twelve years old. She said she meant it as a compliment and walked away beaming.

I think she actually called my boyfriend a paedophile.

"Your Very handsome, but not the usual type of handsome you'd expect, nice and interesting"

this has been said to me by a few girls i know, most have been girls iv had sum form of relationship with or close friends, and i think by 1 or 2 randomers, but it just makes me feel odd, cos i know im not typically a great looking guy but i get so confused when im told that sentence or similar
