Late in Baldur's Gate on the PS2 there were these big green jelly cubes. I don't know what they were. Nothing else like it in the game. Raaaandom...
CUBE!
(Sorry.)
I don't get it.
Ah, it's from a webcomic I read. The main character gets attacked by a big gelatinous cube (a monster from the Dungeons & Dragons game, I believe) which keeps yelling "CUBE!". It's very funny, but fairly random and it was unlikely that you recognised it. That's why I said sorry in advance.

Giant poo monster from Concker's Bad Fur Day, drowning you in poop whilst singing you out.

Anyone familiar with D&D wouldn't consider random cubes of goo to be weird. Compared with the bullshit in the later Monster Manuals, lumps of acidic goo is perfectly normal!

Anyway, my vote goes to the "Head" monster in Dynamite Headdy. Being attacked by a giant clockwork baby head that shoots laser beams is very, very disturbing.

I don't know what their called....

But those enemies in the asylum level in Painkiller, the ones in the strait jackets with the electrified helmets... who explode when they get near you...
They just run at you making muffled screaming noises....
Creeped me right the fuck out.

This explains why they were in the game I guess.
So, thanks.

I don't know the name of the characters but in condemned 2 there are these huge fat monsters with metal arms (I think) that can't really do anything to you because all you have to do is hide and use a big magnet to pick them up and get rid of them, another drawback to having big metal arms, lol. And when I was 8 years old I remember Motaro (or whatever his name was) in Mortal Kombat III, was kind of weird and creepy, though kind of funny as well, specially when he used his tail to attack me.

The Penis Monster in Half-Life 1/2?
What penis monster is this? I've played through the half-life series a fair few times, admitedly not recently, but I don't recall any penis monsters. Do elaborate :p
Well they call it the Ant Lion Guard, but seriously...

Pyramid Head is the scariest monster for me, but the weirdest has to be a toss up between this http://silenthillbg.com/images/silent_hill_v_monster_siam.jpg and this http://www.gamershell.com/static/screenshots/10121/214287_full.jpg

Hope I won't give anyone nightmares by posting these pics...

Resident Evil 4's Regenerators are weird and super-creepy. There's also a boss in Skies of Arcadia, can't remember the name of it. But it's basically a giant translucent blob that pukes on you. I know a lot of videogame enemies have "vomit" attacks, but this one's genuinely horrific.

Haha! I'll never look at them the same way again now, thanks for that :p

Yes, Ant Lion guards are creepy. (Especially that one in the Nova Prospekt shower room, cuz as soon as you jump down from your ledge of safety, it plows through the wall and charges. And you realize you're trapped in the room with that sucker.)

My award goes to the Nihilanth (sp?) from HL1. Looks like a massive stillborn fetus with a split-open head that keeps teleporting you to random rooms full of miniature versions of itself. (Wtf?)

And the goal of that fight is...to jump inside its head? Say WHAT?

I always thought the jelly like Flans from the Final Fantasy series were kinda weird; hated how physical damage did hardly nothing to them.

Some of the bosses in Castle Crashers are pretty awesome. My picks for "wierdest" go to the Corn Boss which me and my buddy renamed "King Cob", The dragon who uses his sock puppet to fight you. And a magical painter who makes his paintings come out to attack you.
Here are videos of them:

It would either be The Pewter Mutate from Prey, or....

Lambent Brumak at the end.
