I'm almost sure that OP is lying about that megaton bobby-pin thing, it's almost impossible to play the game whitout finding one in a weekend.

OT: I was really young, about 5 years old. I was playing this game on my friends house (i can't remember the name or console because it has been really long time since i was 5.) There was this caveman who was throwing bones as attack againt dinosaurs. Well guess who took all the chinken-bones from garbage and started to throw them around like mainiac :D
if you are talking about me, which I hope you are or this will be kinda awkward XP
I think you misunderstand what I was trying to say. this happened in real-life not in-game. was just thinking gaming-logic :p

After playing half life 2 for like 8 hours, I in a body shop and I saw a crowbar and I actually ran to it and picked it up. I got some odd looks.

Other then that after playing the demo for American Mcgee's alice I was walking down the street and I, no shit, thought I saw the face of the Chesire cat in a window. I literally stood there for a minute staring at this window because I would of sworn on my life it was there.

Bayonetta made me want lolipops.

Really, really badly.
I see the marketing opportunities in fetishizing Tootsie-roll pops.

In Bayonetta 2, they need to start branding the lollipops with specific brands, raking in the dough to make Bayonetta 3.
How can you make a Bayonetta 2? that final boss is going to be hard to top. Where do you go after you've killed God?
The Moon.
Duh.
Lets face it Bayonetta pulled a Pokemon

d@mn, thumbs up for that dude ;D you should be proud of that accomplishment ^v^
I take some satisfaction in it, but I'm still embarrassed that in real life I've been beaten unconscious, run over, mugged, had to hold a guy's face together and been shot at, yet what scares me more than anything is a hadeopelagic shark that I'll probably never see.
SAY WHAT o_O you have had a pretty terrifying life you know Q.Q the worst think thats ever happened to me was having an concussion after falling of my bike XP after all that I would have been a freaking mess, you defiantly have more balls then the "average joe" and especially me XP

I ment; You though that you can open that safe in megatown now that you got that bobbypin in real life, (but megatown is in video-game) I'm just wondering how did you not find a bobby-pin in game which you could have used to open that safe. Or did you mean that theres a safe in real life in town called megatown that you wanna pick? :p (I hope you understand what i mean, it's kinda hard to explain)

I could be entirely on the wrong line of thought here but you might be talking about Bignose the Caveman on the NES. Although I suppose cavemen is quite a common theme, hey ho, worth a shout.

How games have affected me. Well, playing many an hour of audiosurf led me to suffer from some form of synesthesia for a brief period, that's pretty trippy.

Oh, and subconsciously hearing the Ocarina of Time overworld music on my way to Uni everyday was a tad strange as well come to think of it...

Believe me, it's nothing for me to be proud of. While I've had to step up and handle the less pleasant aspects of life, as a tradeoff I struggle with the softer side.

My dad abandoned my disabled mum last Christmas, I can handle the lawyers, arguments and threats from him just fine, but it takes the softer touch of my younger, more innocent brother to keep everyone happy, calm and balanced.

Machismo isn't something to strive for in life; it's tough, unrelenting and painful, alternatively, if you can be calm, caring and helpful to those you care about, that's just as impressive.

I was after playing Mass Effect 2 for 7 hours straight my mum walks in the room. When she spoke to me I just looked at her blankly for a few seconds expecting a conversation wheel to appear...

I think that game was Chuck Rock on the Sega Megadrive.

Oddly enough, both of mine involve Fallout.

After a long day of playing FO3 I leave my room and hear my dad making some sort of grumbling/groaning sound. Well, since I had just been wandering the wastes for the past few hours I was on edge. My hand instinctively hit the hotkey to equip my assault rifle, pulled it out and then shot down to where the joystick would be to be ready to look towards where the sound was coming from. I was so confused and I just stared at my hands for a minute. Then realized how crazy I was and kept walking.

Ever since I started playing Fallout: New Vegas I carry at least one bobby pin on me, just in case.

...but don't ever say "machismo" isn't something you can't be proud of. A person that can bear the weight of the entire world on their shoulders is one who can care for anyone and everyone very much. It's a curse, sure, but in bad times men that can hold their chin up high and stand up to the dicks in life are great men indeed. There are too few of those in life, I applaud your bravery.
I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm wary to put my path on some pedestal. While I can 'hold the fort' there always needs to be people with a more more balanced paradigm to fix things. It takes all kinds, after all.

I'm sure it'll work out. Before everything fell apart, my dad taught me the principles of strength, honesty and integrity he passed on from his time in the police, only difference is that I intend to maintain them after he chose to abandon them.

Final Fantasy X.
I was somewhat in love with Rikku.
Like not in a pervert way, like actual unrequited love.

That was tough to get over.
And embarrassing to recollect.

I see arrows and other symbols symbols floating around the objects I'm going to interact with. Sometimes I make my muscles stop working midway through opening a door, so it shuts.

My friend thought I had a stroke or was losing my braincells or whatever until I played Heavy Rain with them.
