So I dunno if another thread like this exists (I only checked two pages back), so I have decided to make this thread about the leaked stuff.

Now I personally really don't care much I just wanna see game play not recorded in a shack somewhere although what has been shown is interesting.

They have added in so many new armor ability types. They now separate into 3 classifications and you can have 1 from each classification.

Eh, knew this was coming, it appears to just be an improved system to what they implemented in Reach.
Besides, if it means I can have plasmas to begin with over frags all the time, I'm cool with it.

Halo is ment to be fair game, everyone starts off with the same gun, not someone can auto spawn with the weapon they can kill an entire team with without loosing their shields.

I wonder what new vehicles there are though. I know vehicles are in because there was pictures of hogs and ghosts. Some of these abilities I find a bit too dumb though like AA efficiency because Armor Abilities should not be able to go for super long times. AA efficiency allows for that by adding more time to AAs. At least no one can Armor Lock + AA Efficiency and be invincible for slightly longer before getting killed anyways.

They took out armor lock.

The storm rifle encase your curious is some new plasma rifle-like gun. I am personally curious what the new enemy weapons will be like and how they will work.

I think they may be mostly campaign exclusive, those ancient enemy weapons. I just hope they don't allow people to spawn with the energy sword, that would just be retarded. Imagine how retarded that would be, spawning with a 1-hit kill weapon?

I don't think they will do, to be honest. Seeing as Halo is better known for close quarters fighting rather than long range, allowing people to spawn with swords and gravity hammers would just fuck the MP to hell. And if there's one thing Halo's MP has done well in the past is balance, I think.

Ya know, apart from those odd moments where one guy quits and the teams are uneven. :p

Lol'd. Halo 3 was pretty balanced, but that's about it. All the others had a horrendously overpowered weapon or piece of equipment in them.
Well, the only MP I've played "competitively" is 3 and Reach, which seemed pretty balanced to me. Only experience I have with CE and 2's MP is split screen dicking around and two v one LAN matches with friends. :p

Ha, I'm one of those guys who use armour lock in BTB. I just love fucking with the Ghost drivers who try splattering everyone, so much fun. Although now, outside of BTB, armour lock is more or less useless. People wised up and just take the time to reload, back up then shoot the shit out of you when it runs out.

And Halo 3 was a great game. The Infection game type was pretty damn awesome, some of the maps in the rotation were brilliant.

With all the new content they are adding is I can totally see multiple things that are going to be considered OP, although what I have currently seen so far doesn't seem too game breaking. The whole tactical package stuff though feels too 'perk-like' to me, I prefer the armor abilities because they do something more interesting than some stat modifier. Like uh, yay I can now use my armor abilities slightly longer... I don't see the appeal of that beyond that of people who like spamming armor abilities.

Support Upgrades though... I wonder what the hell that means. Drones that follow you around? An AI that helps you? What?!

Man, you know what I loved about Halo 3, besides the maps? Those little pieces of equipment you could pick up. Like that one thing that you could throw out and this bulletproof bubble would pop up.

Those were the days. A friend recently told me Halo 3 is all but dead at this point, theres very little people playing it. I don't know how legit that info is (I don't have an xbox anymore so I can't check) but if it's true that's a damn shame.

Still haven't given up hope on that PC port...
Ah, they were pretty cool. Nothing like throwing down a grav-lift when a Mongoose was heading your way or the trip mine. The only piece of equipment I didn't like from that was the flare. That thing pissed me off to no end. Just running along, then suddenly I'm blinded and waiting to respawn.

I think 3 still has a small dedicated fanbase playing it. I've seen a couple of guys on my friends list jump on it for a few hours before so there must be some kind of community there. Whether or not it's people who prefer it or the MLG wannabes, I can't say.

Oh good Lord, what in the hell are those? The second one doesn't even remotely resemble a Spartan suit.

I get that they're supposed to be the next breed of super soldier, but do they have to make the armor so garish? I don't mind experimenting with different designs, but at least try to make them consistent with the visual style of the series thus far.

I probably will use camouflage to hide my Spartan's ugliness in multiplayer. Maybe that's why they added AA efficiency because they know the spartan 4s look ugly so they are giving people the opportunity to hide themselves for longer periods of time with active camo.

They should let you run around in your underwear as an option. It has more dignity than these armors.

Is that a DMR?

Why does it make any contextual sense for the outdated DMR to be standard issue in a world where the Battle Rifle was made?

Anyway, not loving this. Call me a puritan but I loved Halo because it had a unique style that seperated it from other multiplayer games. No loadouts and colorful visuals for one thing. This really does not look like the Halo I know and love, Reach pushed it a little by adding loadouts and making Elites only playable in certain modes but this has gone too far for me.

The Spartans no longer look anything like the iconic Spartans of the past and the loadouts are way more complicated and too much like Battlefield and the final nail in the coffin was the realization that the elites are not playable in multiplayer.

I can't believe it, but this is the first time I've ever seen news for a Halo game and not been interested. Time was I was the biggest Halo fanboy who ever lived, but now I'll just take the trilogy, ODST and Reach and ignore the rest.

So you don't wanna run around the place spamming grenades with your grenadier tactical package (along with grenade pistol thing) while abusing the jump pack and spamming DMR? (don't forget your support upgrade and DLC DevianTART armor!)

I just hope that in-game the spartan IV's don't look as stupid. I dunno why they ditched elites, they would be on-par with the mary sues spartan IVs at this point and it would add more diversity and the elites seen don't look as stupid so maybe they cut them because they know that everyone would be an elite instead due to not being as stupid looking.

I bet they are going to sell these like kiddie action figures, but now with a younger age demographic for the game that's now for 13 year old dweebs weebs.

At least the gameplay will be good.

The first one looks fucking sweet and would make sense for an underwater type Spartan. The second is a clusterfuck.
