Spartan IVs look like they were designed by a 12 year old!
G.I.Joe anyone?
Oh good Lord, what in the hell are those? The second one doesn't even remotely resemble a Spartan suit.
I get that they're supposed to be the next breed of super soldier, but do they have to make the armor so garish? I don't mind experimenting with different designs, but at least try to make them consistent with the visual style of the series thus far.
That's because the armor is the MJOLNIR VI which is considerible lighter and so looks different then the Mark V and if you didn't notice, everything has been changed, even the Mark V looks different.
And do note the armor and it's color style aren't one in the same, they just put two together, the armor style and color pattern can be changed fully.

Is that a DMR?
Why does it make any contextual sense for the outdated DMR to be standard issue in a world where the Battle Rifle was made?
Anyway, not loving this. Call me a puritan but I loved Halo because it had a unique style that seperated it from other multiplayer games. No loadouts and colorful visuals for one thing. This really does not look like the Halo I know and love, Reach pushed it a little by adding loadouts and making Elites only playable in certain modes but this has gone too far for me.
The Spartans no longer look anything like the iconic Spartans of the past and the loadouts are way more complicated and too much like Battlefield and the final nail in the coffin was the realization that the elites are not playable in multiplayer.
I can't believe it, but this is the first time I've ever seen news for a Halo game and not been interested. Time was I was the biggest Halo fanboy who ever lived, but now I'll just take the trilogy, ODST and Reach and ignore the rest.
There is the DMR and the BR both in the game, and it appears both are new models.
And the Elites might be in the game, but they did say they won't be in RANKED multiplayer because Ranked multiplayer is story based compared to previous games were Single-player and multiplayer were seperate.
And loadouts are pretty simple, pick between the pistol, DMR, BR, and Assault Rifle (no RPGS, no Sniper rifles) and it's gernades, and armor ability.

Oh no. Customization. The entire franchise is ruined forever. Such betrayal. I can't believe people can choose things now. That's not real Halo.
*sigh. If they were just making more "real" Halo people would be angry that there wouldn't be enough change.
Exactly, if they change it then people complain, if they keep it the same, people complain.
