Post count defines your forum activity. As a forum regular, it's expected to have a high post count because you've been here a while and have been posting actively. It's not spam, it's contribution.
But you could also simply be a lurker. I suppose I can't counter the fact that having a higher post count means you contribute more, but it doesn't mean you don't use the forums.
I'm not saying you're not using the forums if you don't have a high post count. I'm saying that a high post count means you've been being an active member.

I don't understand why you would consider leaving the site based on what one person said. One person, who sounds like they were an obvious troll.
A bit of personal gubbins here, I was going through a pretty rough spot at the time with my cousins death so I was exactly thinking rationally at the time.
Oh, I see. I'm not really sure what else to say. I kinda feel bad now, having assumed you would have left based on what one person said, so for that I apologize.

Don't worry about it, you had no idea.

I have over 4000 posts and I think I only have gotten two out of the blue friend requests XD
And I can kinda see why, I'm not necessarily unique or well known around this site
Oh well XD

I like people with high post counts. Makes this site feel more personal since there's this group of elite posters that everyone knows. Even better anyone can become one of them with enough determination(although you should stay on topic). I don't consider them spammers as long as they stay on topic.
