Lostprophets, May 1st 2010.
Headbanging to We Are Godzilla You Are Japan is beastly.
You're so damn right. August 25th, Sheperds Bush Empire. Queuing outside, Ian Watkins walks past about five feet away, saying: "sorry lads it's gonna be a shit show tonight, might wanna get your money back now" I lol'd. It was epic, they played Shinobi and FSoP and fuckin' To Hell We Ride.

That's a first gig to remember.
During our's, the drummer missed a beat and Ian just turned and shouted 'FUCKING HELL!' at him. We all laughed, they carried on the song XD

I hadn't actually listened to Shinobi when I went to see them, and that was the only song on the Fake Sound of Progress they played. Was awesome. Didn't listen to any of FSoP before the gig, but the girl I met there bought me it for my birthday. One of my other mates got me The Betrayed. Start Something live IS THE SHIT! Twas epicness ;D
Haha, you lucky dog. Their first two albums are so awesome live and just in general. Liberation Transmission is better live, they opened with Can't Catch Tomorrow with epic dark moody intro. They only played three songs off the new one, they were alright. But the absolute highlight was the breakdown of Fake Sound:
Ma-ake me smile, again.... RAAAAAAAAAAARGH SWING IT! *guitar breakdown*

Fake Sound of Progress is epic, and I REALLY hope they are touring again next year because I have listened to The Betrayed now, so will be able to pick out the songs easier and won't look like a freak TRYING to sing. Also like Awkward, even though the intro is basically the same as Shinobi's. They should really play more FSoP stuff.
I wanted them to play 4AM Forever, as that was my favourite song by them for quite some time. They did play Can't Catch Tomorrow, A Town Called Hypocrisy and The New Transmission. They were awesome.

My first gig was when I was 14/15. I saw The Stranglers and they were supported by Taxi To The Ocean.

I hate Keane. Lots.
This. The frontman's face has no edges, like runny cheese.
Hey, someone else read 'Is It Just Me Or Is Everything Shit?'.

My first was Wheatus, back in 2002. I was dragged along by my girlfriend at the time, although I didn't complain 'cos the support act was a band I really liked and Wheatus were pretty amusing.

I went to a lot after that but my gig-going has declined greatly in the past few years. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to summon the required effort to stand around for three hours unless it's a band I absolutely can't miss. The fact that I like my personal space also doesn't help. That and the fact that my moron tolerance is very low and London is full of 'em.

I beat you all because I saw Busted when I was 12.

My first proper concert was Green Day earlier this year at Manchester, was fucking amazing even if I did collapse >.<
Hang on. I know a guy who saw green day earlier this year in Dublin and collapsed.

Fucking epic. I maintain that they're the best live band in the multiverse.

I saw these mad japanese guys called Electric Eel Shock at a once-famous pub named De Barra's.
The energy was unbelieveable. I had never before experienced that kind of intensity. People were crowd surfing and jumping all over the place.
I managed to get a signed copy of their latest album. It was awesome.
They were the supporting act at the first gig I went to see!

They were crazy there were climbing the PA systems and getting people to throw beer at them and yell "bastards!" and "Cheers" in Japanese it was pretty insane for a first gig.

The main act was Turbonegro at Leeds Cockpit about...6 years ago. Was an awesome night.

My first and only gig was a Bob Dylan concert a year or two ago. He's old but it was still really good, especially when he did Like a Rolling Stone. The drummer kicked ass that night.

First concert was Green day

It's what I thought it would be. Loud music & nice lights. It's also the only concert I have been to. Im going to muse in dec. I bet that will roughly the same a green day.

I went to the Progressive Nation Europe tour. Which means I saw Opeth, Dream Theater, Bigelf, and Unexpect in only one night!

it was maaaaagicaal.
You lucky son of a gun. Whenever I look online for Opeth gigs there was either a gig a few days ago or they'll be touring on the other side of the world.
well, I got my tickets half a year before the concert. I check every month fo any kind of gig, but only go to 2 a year, at the most. For finances.

First concert was Dreamtheater, my favorite band of all time. They play my fave song "Endless Sacrifice" and a month later I tatted their logo on my arm.
