Gears of War - definitely one of the most overrated turds the shooter side of gaming has ever shat out, and its shat out a great many.
The game is as meat headed and stupid as the pathetic characters, and I didnt even enjoy the action, which is the only objective of brain dead games like it anyway. I can play any game provided its good enough, so Im not like the OP in that I played a game I should have known better about. I completed it once, and havent touched it since. The only connection I have had with Gears of War since is seeing that pathetic trailer that they released for the sequel. Just like the first, seeming to think that if they play a certain type of music over the trailer, it might appear deeper than it actually is.
Such a laughable game, yet at the same time its popularity being an awful indictment on why gamers are portrayed as hyperactive immature idiots.
