I don't think I particularly impact the Escapist. I mean, I'm reasonably well known, but that doesn't mean much. If I wasn't here, it'd be pretty much the same. So not much.

As for what to change, get rid of the elitism. Just the general "We're better than everyone else" attitude expressed by some members. That needs to go.

I've heard many saying that it would be no different if they were not there but if none of them were here, it would be a very different forum indeed.

I probably don't impact it in anyway, shape or form.
I stay away from Off-Topic, Gaming Discussion and I avoid the R&P board like it has rabies, so therefore, I live in Forum Games and I make the odd group and User Review excursion now and again.

And the 'change one thing for the better'?
I'd say, and I'll still carry on suggesting this if I'm here in five years time and it hasn't been done yet, remove the post counter and make it profile only, so you have to click the persons profile to see the amount of times they've posted.

I have made no impact at all, and for that I am content. However, it does seem to be the case that everyone and their mothers are made of fast food and fail if they don't have an amazing gaming PC and instead opted for the cheaper, more user friendly console. (I agree to some extent, PC>Console, but expensive!!!!111!!1!!)

Well, from being around a while and seeing how this place works, I attempted to spark conversations a lot throughout my stay here. At one point I didn't visit this site for a few months simply because everytime I tried to make a topic, it was a bit too thorough and people didn't want to actually read it. Oh well.

As for what I'd change...nothing really. I mean, its just a forum.

I have absolutely no impact whatsoever. In fact, if I mysteriously vanished I ould seriously doubt anyone would remember me at all. I haven't done anything useful or memorable, and my posts are pretty much about as interesting as the taste of cardboard.

Well, if I could change anything I would give The Escapist a built-in spell check, and if you make a sill grammar error repeatedly you get a warning telling you to go back to school and not make some retarded excuse like "language evolves", because, whilst that's true, you're making the language worse, not better.

As far something I could change, undoubtedly I'd stop posts in Forum Games/RP from adding to post count.
