Twilight Princess I guess counts?

Because it's kind of difficult to make a good game based on the concept of Werewolves.

Hell I can't even think of where to start.

only 2 that i know of, 1 was some f2p jrgmmo that was vamps vs wherewolfs, absolute wtf crap. and another was a f2p korean fps/mmo that u could turn into a wherewolf, it was kinda fun, but dosent last long, mostly due to lag issues.

Probably because just werewolves is hard - it's easier to set up a story, then add an element like "werewolves". It's like saying Hydra - well, what about the hydra?
But yes, that being said, werewolves are cool and I wouldn't be opposed to seeing more.

Well, for the record, I agree. And Bloodmoon was pretty cool. I'd say the reason is...well...a lack of material, really. It's the same reason there aren't as many movies about them. Also, the fact that, as a werewolf, you shouldn't have control would make it kinda incongruous with the legends and pop culture. But then again, they did make The Hulk into a few games...

EW TWILIGHT! burn in hell >=(

anyways, back to topic...

i could think of making one assassin's creed style. during the day, some normal dude, fending living his life, trying to keep out of the eye of wherewolf hunters, and during the night, ripping shit up and having chaoticly awsome fun times :D either killing the town, or turning them into wherewolfs. as for storyline....u got me :| that's hard.

It'd be easy enough to set-up a day/night system that limits it to following legends to an extent.

I just can't think of a decent story regarding werewolves.

@Kevon: Is there something wrong with Zelda?

After that Sonic game where he turns into the werewolf there was actually a law passed banning werewolf games.

Thats true what the above poster said about the next expansion for WoW having werewolves in it, the Worgen. Also, though how far int he future this is no one knows yet, CCP, the people who make eve online, bought the right to the World of Darkness franchise, maybe just white wolf in general i dont remember, which has werewolf:the Apocalypse as one of its main franchises, other than Vampire the Masquerade, what they will choose to let you do or not do in that future MMO is all speculation still i believe (Though i hope for being able to play a werewolf, werewolves from that universe are awesome).

well the only thought i have is maybe a survival sim where you have to deal with turning into a human in the day, werewolf hunters, other werewolfs trying to move in on your terrotory. best i could come up with

...He's talking about Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

OT: Well I think it's because we're not as interesting anymore. The last game I remember that had werewolves was that terrible Altered Beast remake, and it's been a long time since that.

Dude... Werewolf: The Last Warrior. Get thee to an NES, sir. Um... the blade-arm things aren't really true to legend, but hey, it's a werewolf game.

Want my guess? Bayonetta got bored one day, got together with Dante and Buffy[footnote]See if you can figure our what the letters DSS stand for in this scenario.[/footnote], and then they killed them all. No more werewolves in video game land equates to no more werewolf games, right?. Or maybe Vampire: Bloodlines scared them away. Or maybe Stephanie Meyers is putting a hurt on them to not try and find work so that her guys can stay on top.

I dunno, you tell me.
