Shapeshifting. It must involve black ooze and sharp tentacles. It will take place in New York, to avoid that... well, you know...
I just got a.... you know lol.

Yeah shape Shifters would be awesome. Not like we've had a good Werewolves/vampire movie recently so a good one of those would be appreciated lol.
Well, apparently Daybreakers (or whatever that one vampire movie MovieBob reviewed was) was good. Also, that 'WolfMan' movie (Or whatever it's called) shows a small bit of promise.

I wish there was an easier way to convey my thoughts with shapeshifting. I've always found it to be one of the top powers/abilities to have, coming right behind control of time. Needless to say, I've had plenty of images involving Shapeshifting in my head for plenty long. There's not usually an association with japan in those, though...

Here's a wild inaccurate stab in the creationistical dark; an idea so original and radical, only myself knew of such a revolutionary twist in the fate of literary and media industries:

Humans.

humans created vampires/Warewolves/zombies/JkRowling and other atrocities of evil.

So go to the root of all evil. Simples.

Succubbi

A depiction of the Faerie Folk from actual Irish legend, rather than Disney (Artemis Fowl type fairies are also acceptable)

Golem

Thats my next big three.
Imagine succubi; seducing politicians and whatnot.

They already have problems not having affairs with normal women.

Well, I don't think the evil-killer-cyborg-turned-on-humanity thing is quite dead.
Hollywood could try that.

If we're sticking to western gothic then theres gargoyles, shapeshifters, imps, ghosts, ogres, witches, elementals and/or demonic possession.

Emos. Hordes of whining, crying emos. Boring people to death with their poetry.
Mexicans would beat the shit out of them. They know what to do with emos south of the border.

Apparently it's going to be Mummies.

As long as they don't remake Robot vs the Aztec Mummy, I will be okay with it.
