My hat is off to the town of Rankin. I just hope more people and places begin doing more against the church.

I know how much WBC is hated and people have counter-protested their protests, but this is certainly one of the better moments with people raging against them.

Haha, well done Rankin County. Apart from the guy that got assaulted, this was a pretty smart, non violent way of dealing with these guys. Unfortunately the Church will just view it as persecution against them.

What really annoys me about these people is that they refer to themselves as a church and call themselves Christians, when they are clearly not!

They view ANYTHING said against them as persecution against them.

They protested at a friend of mine's High School. Someone ran therough a puddle so it splashed dirty water in their face. That was truly a epic moment of trolling the trolls.

On one hand, beating someone isn't exactly the best way to deal with this.

On the other hand, I can think of no other group of people who are more deserving of a good beating.

I google'd this, and found someone who talked about how the people of Rankin county still broke the first amendment. True, I'm glad it happened, but if they're allowed to get away with it then that means anyone could.

Westboro will only be beaten when no one cares anymore.

Or someone could just kill the stupid bastards, making the world a better place for everyone.

It's a shame that so many things turned out to work against the WBC and their protest. But these things happen I guess. Sometimes the odds are stacked against you and things just don't work out. Maybe they should have prayed to God a bit more of support...

I think this was a great way to deal with them, however I have to disagree with the people who beat that guy.

Yeah I know if there is one group of people in the world that need an arse kicking, its the WBC, but I still find that violence is not the answer.

The best way to beat these guys is to simply Ignore them, and when they try to protest a funeral, they are stopped by a series of unfortunate events that stop them from reaching their destination.

That's never going to happen realistically until they're all dead or all comatosed. I mean... they're protesting at a FUNERAL, verbally abusing so called "fags" on highways with big wooden signs and terrorising the families of people who've lost family members to the war (yes, these people send quite literal HATE mail to these families, saying their loved ones are "fags" and saying they deserved to die).

Are you saying we should stop caring about the WBC?
