Metronomy-The English Riviera. The album is so catchy and I love every song. I listened to it about ten times the whole way through this week. (I had to do LOTS of driving this week).

Right now, I'd have to say it's a toss up between:

Children of Bodom - Are you dead yet?

Gallows - Orchestra of Wolves

Since I've been listening to both an equal amount at the moment.

Scoops the Robot, by Starship Amazing. [http://music.starshipamazing.com/album/scoops-the-robot] I can't really explain why, I'm not even a big fan of the genre. It's just fun to listen to.

Edit: It might be because it accompanies Minecraft really well.

Daft Punk - Discovery, Homework
Justice - Cross

I am listening to loads of house music, I hate dubsteps but the bass line and funky albums are rocking my socks at the moment.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Mine is still Future Islands' absolutly incredible LP In Evening Air. Seriously, it came out I think early last year, and I still play that shit near constantly. Future Islands is tied with the Beatles as my favorite band ever. I know, its freaking insane.

Take a listen to my favorite track, the video is from Dragon's Lair. It, suprisingly, matches up perfectly.

Also dt61, Metronomy is awesome. Plus ten cool points to you

Wasting Light - Foo Fighters
Year Zero - Nine Inch Nails
Nightmare - Avenged Sevenfold
Endgame - Rise Against
A Thousand Suns - Linkin Park

There are more but I feel that's a big enough list just now

I enjoy Starship Amazing and have been listening to Y'all Stop Blogging and those guys are really talented. I'm not a huge fan of the genre either but it's, like you said, really fun to listen to.

Endgame is pretty good, although I prefer either Appeal to Reason or Sufferer and Witness.

Current favorite would either be Saosin album Saosin(trolololololol), Jack's Mannequin album Everything In Transit, or CROW'SCLAW album Brutal Games For Reminding Of Death(Oh how I love Taka's sweet and crunchy riffs, his amazing solos...*shiver*)

It's not a real recent occurence, but Pink Floyd's The Wall.

It's just an amazing album with a excellent story woven into it, quite close to home.

Do I really need to say more? Quite simply, the entire album rox sox. There is not a single song on it that I do not enjoy. I cannot say the same thing about any other album I have listened too, even "Best Of" albums (Yes, there were a couple songs I did not like in Hit. So sue me).

Mobius Trip and Hadron Kaleido [http://homestuck.bandcamp.com/album/mobius-trip-and-hadron-kaleido], by Michael Guy Bowman. It's great for listening to over and over and is just in general a lot of fun. You can listen to it for free at that link, and buy it if you're so inclined.

Try Phoenix. They're a bit less electronic and a bit more rock than Daft Punk, but if you like Daft Punk, you're ought to like Phoenix too.

OT: My favourite album right now is The Fall of Math by 65daysofstatic.
