Chaotic good, I'm a good person and try to help whenever I can but I still do whatever I feel like doing, when I feel like doing it.

I've never played D&D, but to help the conversation Evil.
hmmmm? What kind of Evil? Lawful or Chaotic?
Personally, I try for chaotic good.
Did you read my post, I don't know anything about this! Chaotic sounds like the only thing that should be Evil, I mean, how does Lawful Evil make sense?
Lawful Evil is like an Evil Dictator who makes the hero out to be the villain.

Neutral Evil means you work for their own reasons and are quick to betray their allies to get what they want.

Chaotic Evil means you're a friggan' psychopath and will destroy everything just for the hell of it.
I was going to yell at you as nearly everyone has been on my ass about this, but you explained it the best so thanks.
No problem.

Chaotic Good if you are still using the pre-4th ed. version. The new ones I'm not thrilled with...

I'm not certain where I lie anymore. I used to be a strong chaotic/neutral good, but I've been doing a lot less chaos and good and a lot more neutral all around. I'm probably just a different take on the same alignment. Kinda like that one poster with Batman "Lawful good doesn't mean lawful nice."

I also always pictured lawful evil people as James Bond villains and less as Fidel Castro/Kim Jong Ill.

In fact, I think KJI is probably chaotic evil. He blew up his school because he didn't want other kids being taught how to be awesome like him.

Darth Vader [http://codepoetics.com/poetix/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/star-wars-lawful-evil.jpg]

-edit-
Explanation: Lawful means that they support government, and order. People like Darth Vader, and Superman. Chaotic is more Libertarian, Anarchistic. People like Ron Paul, or V.

That helps a lot, because I also know nothing about DnD. So yes, I am a Vader Style Lawful Evil. Except, I would be more Emperor Palpatine than Vader... Only with more killing and random violence and less Rebels Living...
Always glad to help a future dictator :)

-edit-
Though, now that I think about it, Ron Paul is probably more of a True Neutral, rather than Chaotic, because he tries to work with the system to change it.

Woah, Deja vu. Oh wait, this topic has just been done before, I'm sure.

Chaotic evil, just like last time.
Dude you can't call that. Only if the thread appears like every month.

I refuse to believe someone is actually Chaotic Evil. So all you care about is hurting people and you have no morals? I find that difficult to believe.
You should see me in real life. I'm a bitter misanthrope

But seriously, yes.

In fact, I also believe that no human can commit any act that is not selfish, directly or indirectly.
Why would you help someone? in the hope that you could forge a friendship or alliance, thus benefiting yourself in future. There are many other examples, but I'm too lazy to list them.

I'd say I am chaotic evil- I sure as hell haven't helped anyone or been nice recently, but it may be an issue of perception, based on my perception of "selfless" acts as mentioned earlier.

Sounds like Neutral Evil. Your abidance to the law seems to be balanced by a penchant for mischief.
dude that sounds cool!! thank you very much ^.^

Lawful Neutral.

I'm a law student, what else can I say?

[EDIT]: Just confirmed it with Wizard's Official alignment test [http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20001222b].
Did the test as well and I also got Lawful Neutral, as I had expected myself. Cool test! Thanks for that.
