Currently, they have not done:
Kiwi
Scarab beetle
Beaver
Weasel?
Raccoon
Lemur
Coyote
Meerkat
Ocelot
Armadillo
That's all I can think of.
EDIT: Porcupine and Hedgehog as well.
Beaver = Bibarel
Racoon = Linoone
Meerkat = Patrat/Watchog
Hedgehog = Shaymin

You know, 97% of this thread is Ancient Greek to me. I have absolutely no idea who most of these pokemon are.

Still, I shall comply with the topic and write down my best guess: a mite. Or a louse.

You all forgot the most obvious man looking pokemon. Machop and its evs. They have not done a Hamster or a tyrannosaurus rex. And they haven't done a dolphin.

I'm certain they've never done this animal before-

Man. Seriously, there's not one pokemon that resembles a man. Unless you count Ditto that cute pink slime critter who can appear to look like anything it wishes. Not even sure if it has a gender or not at all.
Mr. Mime, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Machamp and his evolutions, Jynx....and uhh....idk

A bit behind the times, I'm sure some bug types would resemble the scarab, they've done beavers and racoons, and armadillo was covered in the first generation

There has never been a squid pokemon, much to my frustration. I mean come on, you'll make a bunch of different dog pokemon but not one freaking squid? I mean, it's not like it would even be hard to make a giant tentacled creature into a pokemon. It's practically already done for you!

In fact, I don't think there's been a nautilus Pokemon. Cephalopods are tragically underrepresented in Pokemon

I guess they've done everything then. It's no doubt the creators have gotten a list of everything living thing around and made multiple Pokemon variations on all of them.

Maybe they're afraid of what the internet would do with such a pokemon? and understandably so :X.

Octillery and Tentacruel - close enough.

Octillery. That's an easy one.

hm...

I know Dolphin hasn't been done yet. Sharks, Whales, and fish are a yes. But no Dolphins or actual representation of Narwals

Koalas haven't been touched yet.

Gilamonter hasn't been done...

Hm... neither has Platypus.

Sabertooth Tiger. Peacock... um...

And if we get into prehistoric animals. That's a long list I could have some fun with. Dilapasaurus (with InGen added poison spitting action for shits and giggles). Anything from the raptor family. I know they did something off Archyterypx (spelling is way off) but nothing more Deinonychus or Velociraptor-like.

Hm... further research shows that there isn't even a T-Rex or a Triceratops Pokemon yet. The fuck is taking them so long? We got to prehistoric plants before the two big hitters? Where the fuck are the priorities here?

What? No. Octillery is an octopus and tentacruel is a jellyfish. The last one isn't even in the cephalopod class so I have no clue why you would mention it.

They look the same to me and pokemon with resemblances to animals is what the thread's aimed at. There's no *actual* dog pokemon, last I checked they can't breathe fire so Arcanine isn't a dog.

Here ya go [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/], browse away! heh.

Joltik [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/595.shtml] is a mite, but I doubt they will do a louse. Some things just can't be made cute and kid-friendly.

Omanyte [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/138.shtml] and Omastar [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/139.shtml]? Maybe not close enough...

Nope, unless you count Doduo [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/084.shtml]
Karrablast [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/588.shtml] or whatever the heck Genesect [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/649.shtml] is,
Bidoof [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/399.shtml] and Bibarel [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/400.shtml],
Furret [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/162.shtml], Linoone [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/264.shtml], Sneasel [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/215.shtml], Weavile [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/461.shtml]
Zigzagoon [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/263.shtml]
No lemurs, but lots of monkeys. Closest is Infernape [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/392.shtml] or Aipom [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/190.shtml]
Houndour [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/228.shtml] and Houndoom [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/229.shtml], possibly Manectric [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/310.shtml] and Mightyena [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/262.shtml]
Patrat [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/504.shtml] and Watchog [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/505.shtml]
No ocelots either, but lots of cats. Absol [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/359.shtml], maybe?
Sandshrew [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/027.shtml]
Shaymin [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/492.shtml] and Sandslash [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/028.shtml]

They have done a dolphin. Marine Biologists will tell you that an orca (killer whale) is the largest breed of dolphin in the world, so Kyogre is both an orca and a dolphin Pokemon.
