What anime are you watching?

Been out of anime for a couple years now. I find myself unable to connect with the socially and sexually awkward male protagonists that somehow manage not to get any despite being surrounded by women throwing themselves at him for no apparent reason. Seriously. Just watched B Gotta H Kei which is COMPLETELY about a hormone charged girl trying desperately to get into the protagonist's pants and he STILL only get to third base in the series's 12 episode run.

That being said, I've gotten back into it the past couple of weeks with the help of some truly engaging shows. Namely, Hellsing: Ultimate (extreme eye candy) , Eve No Jikan (fantastic story), and Genshiken (realistic yet hilarious)

after trying gundam seed recently i lost all faith in the medium,

yeah i agree, gundam seed made me dislike anime for a long time. But im now getting back into it.

Im watching Eyesheild 21, its making me appreciate the sport of football you Americans love so much.

Form the this Winter Season: Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?.It's funny as hell and just bleeds awesomeness.

Rio:Rainbow Gate,not the best but an enjoyable ecchi series,just don't take it to seriously.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica: A nice deconstruction of the magic girl genre, I really do enjoy it
As for other things: Hell Girl: Two Mirrors because I love revenge stories and Zan Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei becasue it's really funny.

I have also been watching Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit on and off for a while now.


As for Reading anime... Or, uh, manga. I'm currently going through Prince of Tennis.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica: A nice deconstruction of the magic girl genre, I really like it but I'm starting to dislike it slightly because my friend keeps going on about it's greatness.

Gen Urobuchi is such a fucking hack.

Even Akiyuki Shinbo can't keep me interested in his bullshit, and that's really saying something.
