Just finished watching "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time". It was pretty awesome, I have no idea why it isn't more famous.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood; pretty good show and I do kind of prefer the world-spanning story involved here so far to what happened at the end of the first version of the cartoon. In terms of production values, though, this one can't hold a candle to the first Fullmetal Alchemist cartoon. The art in this new cartoon is more diverse, but it's much choppier and more lazy, and the music compared to the first cartoon falls flatter than a pancake run over by a steamroller.

Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo; beautiful art direction, and I'm really interested in seeing how this story unwinds. Albert is so seduced by the Count that he seems to be the only person around who has trouble seeing anything sinister about the Count.

Soul Eater; I've seen the whole show before, but it's a blast to watch, dammit! It's nothing very deep, but the characters really do seem totally different from one another, not just in terms of personality, but in artistic design. And that theme song... just... yes. (I mean "Resonance", the first intro song, of course; "Paper Moon" can burn and die for all I care.)

Bamboo Blade; The main character is this high school girl with a strong sense of justice derived from her fanatic obsession with tokusatsu (shows like Super Sentai and Kamen Rider). She's freakin' adorable. -^-^- I haven't seen much of the whole show, but it seems pretty fun.

Full Metal Panic (preferably Fumoffu); I don't care about the major plot of this series; I'm more interested in watching Sosuke dealing with high school life with military answers. I just kind of find that hilarious. (same kind of reason I sat through Ouran)

Might try Hanasaku Iroha later.
I highly recommend it. It's one of those anime that gets better as it goes along and the aesthetic style is really good. One of the better looking animes out there. I still have no idea what the story will ultimately be about but it seems to be a coming of age story.

Ao No Exorcist / Blue Exorcist is a popular one for me, I used to read the manga and now they've started making an Anime for it.

I'm half way through 'Monster' (This thing would be a lot shorter if anyone had the balls to pull the trigger.)
'Deadman wonderland' (Another wimpy kid with super powers, yay... Oh didn't i mention that theres a semi retarded girl with tight clothes?)
'Black Lagoon Robertas blood trail' OVA's (I'm not sure if it has a plot, but it looks so damn good on my HDTV)
'Gintama' (Even their 'fillers' are awesome.)
'Bakuman' (made me appreciate the effort that manga, anime, etc.. authors put in a lot more)

Deadman Wonderland and Kino's Journey. Deadman Wonderland is really crazy/weird and it definitely feels like it's going to be one of those 13-episode series where a few more episodes would have made the anime so much better. Kino's Journey, on the other hand, is a tale about a teenage girl and her magical, talking motorcycle just going to different places. I like the laid-back tone of it all, but I've only seen he first two episodes and even then the ending of the second episode wasn't to my liking.

I've just finished up both seasons of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and all of Lucky Star, both of which were fantastic.

As for giant robots and (kinda) cool hair, I have nothing more to recommend than the excellented well-crafted RahXephon. Upon multiple viewings, you can really tell all the care they put into things like foreshadowing.

I'd also recommend Paranoia Agent just for how out there it is. It mixes the abstract with the concrete almost excessively, and the interplay of the seperate characters lives is fantastic.

Kino no tabi - Stark portrayal of differing societies and morally grey areas shown through the perspective of a 17 year old girl with a talking motorbike with the tagline "The world is not pretty, and that makes it beautiful."
Highschool of the dead - .... Zombies, good fight scenes, somewhat believable characters for the situation in that they are the ones surviving, and WAY TOO MUCH fanservice...
(Just finished like 5 minutes ago) School days - Harem anime, GF wanted me to watch it (insert whip crack sound). It has left me mentally scarred in that it ends how I thought a harem situation logically would.
Oh and I shall be checking out the P4 anime in autumn although that isn't current...

Anime from this year:
Ano Hana (Right off the bat I already know this is gonna be a tear jerker.)
Hanasaku Iroha (Nice slice of life anime)
Ao no Exorcist (Pretty cool)
C (Cool concept, but it's not very interesting to me.)
Deadman Wonderland (Decided to read the manga, too. I'm curious to see how this one ends.)
Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko (Cutest anime of the season.)
Gosick (Meh.)
Maria Holic Alive (I actually really enjoy Maria Holic, and I'm enjoying this season, too.)
Nichijou (So much win.)
Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai Specials (I like this one better than the main series. Kuroneko FTW.)

Anime from earlier years:
Darker than Black (4 episodes in, and it's pretty good. Taking a little break, though)
Monster (9 episodes in, and it's pretty good. Started watching around the same time as DTB, and taking a little break)
Gintama (5 episodes in, and it's just so boring, but I KNOW it gets better.)
Katanagatari (Okay, I'm 6 episodes in, and I don't see what the big deal is. They talk too much during the fight scenes and it's really aggravating me.)
Mushishi (4 episodes in, and I should really stop watching these shows at the same time. It's a relaxing show.)
NANA (8 episodes in, and it's also a little boring, hope it gets better.)
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (Waiting for more English dub episodes, since I love the English dub so much)
Hellsing Ultimate (Like everyone else, still waiting for episode VIII)
Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail (Waiting for final episode)

As for animes I just finished, the english dub for Ghost Stories.

Best. English dub. Ever.

EDIT: Now I'm watching Cardcaptor Sakura, which I haven't seen for years. The dub is one of the worst things I've ever heard (And I grew up listening to it.), so i decided to watch the subs, which is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. I love the Japanese opening, and Sakura's voice is cute, and the soundtrack is a hell of a lot better.

Yes. but I think the Fanservice hits a point were it is no longer fanservice but in fact a parody of Fanservice

I watched the first episode of Durarara!! and it looks pretty awesome, i'll eventually watch it.

I also watched the first episode of Shakugan no Shana, and while it was kind of meh i'll hold on judging it until i've seen at least the first 4-5 episodes.

Also out of some weird fascination I watched the first 3 epidsodes of Candy Boy and because of how short the series is i'll probably finish it first.

There's a ton of anime i'm planning to watch, but I don't have a time frame on when.

Haruhi...which is good. Way over-hyped, though.

Trigun's last few episodes...eventually. Been at that point since before PSN went down.

And was about to start Death Note on Netflix...but it turned out to be the Sub.

Second season of The World God Only Knows, and it's far better then I expected.
