Anyone here seen Katanagatari? Super under-rated, beautiful and original anime. I recommend reading up on it a little before diving into it as what you're getting is not what you might initially expect as there is very little action (though when there is, it's awesome).

Believe it or not, it gets even more soul crushing. Still, if you've gotten this far, you don't hate it, and you're invested enough for it to have that sort of effect, you're probably going to end up loving it. Probably.

the ending is a broken base for EVERYONE A select few like it, a MASSIVE number of people hate it. Watch "End of Evangelion" afterwords. It's more or less the ending that was planned but overspending hurt the series.

Why not just watch one and absorb its story/characters/lessons instead of trying to cram five more in the process? Not judging anyone. I am just genuinely curious about this.

I second this and it's something I've been curious about before when I see threads like this and people list like 20 animes in one post.

I'm the same, I watch one anime at a time assuming the anime in question has already aired in it's entirety. I still watch One Piece and Naruto once a week though because they will just go on and on and on and on and on...

Admittedly impressive, but there are several repeats in there that I assume you just put in there to make your list look longer.

No, I put the repeats in there because the ones being repeated, are being repeatedly watched, y'know for reasons of hilarity and greatness.... and once before for confusion.

Though that still doesn't change the fact there are 32 items on that list....
30 now, just finished two as I was writing this.
