Q: the Winged Serpent is a gritty crime thriller in New York, that happens to have an old Aztec pterodactyl god eating people on rooftops. It's pretty great.

I'm really suprised that I have to be the one to say Starship Troopers.

Starship Troopers gets my vote. I still watch it almost every time it comes on though.

Insidious. We laughed throughout the entire thing. I really did feel bad for the people sitting around us, but it was so fucking funny. The main demon is Darth Maul, there are a thousand jump scares a second, there are two comedic relief characters which would have been funny even if the movie was actually scary, it's just all in all really funny. Watch it with friends.

Starship troopers and, to an extent, Starship Troopers: Marauder. Check it:

I went to see Blair Witch Project wanting to see what all the scary hoopla was all about and spent the entire movie laughing my ass off at three stupid people lost in the woods.

A few suggestions I've encountered during Bad Movie Nights:

Raptor - It's basically Aliens, but with dinosaurs. And a seven minute long sex scene.

Lair of the White Worm - Hugh Grant has to kill a giant worm. Yep.

Vampire's Kiss - The definitive Nic Cage movie. He yells, he chews the scenery and generally looks and acts like an utter douchebag. He also eats a live cockroach.

Basically, if it's been done by MST3K, RiffTrax, or Cinematic Titanic you're gonna have a good time. Specifically, I'd recommend Manos the Hands of Fate.

For a good action comedy I'd go with Big Trouble in Little China
For a hilariously bad horror movie - Killer Klowns from Outer Space (I own it and have seen it about 15 times)

Birdemic. I've only seen little snipettes of it and I know the budget was $10'000, but wow. So insanely dumb, but you can't look away.
Another vote for Birdemic. I actually have seen every single episode of Rifftrax and MST3k multiple times, and Still . . . I was actually shocked by how bad Birdemic is.

Star Wars Christmas Special also deserves mention :)

Edit, another one: "Howling 2: Stirba Werewolf *****" I could go on all day :)

Spice Girls, I grew up on the movie and I will defend its terrible, terrible everything 'til the cows come home.

Battle Royale, it's a Japanese movie that is ... well it's basically The Hunger Games but with more heads exploding and ZERO JUSTIFICATION. It came out well before Hunger Games, I've been told it has a sequel, as well.

That one Starship Troopers movie that has Neil Patrick Harris in it, that was GLORIOUS.

Of course, Army of Darkness, it's a classic. CHAINSAW ARM.

Edit: Fuck, how could I forget Earth Girls Are Easy? That shit is pure comedy gold. Fuzzy aliens, Jeff Goldblum, the 80's. I can't even begin to explain that movie.

I saw Hobo with a Shotgun today. Complete hokum, but it does what it says on the tin.

Kung Pow: Enter the Fist, I know it's supposed to be a parody of old 70/80's kung fu flicks but it's just so bad it's hilarious, seriously just trying to explain what's going on half the time is impossible but it can lead to hilarious converstions when watching with friends.

Kung Pow: Enter the fist. Now THAT is a cheesy, yet awesome movie.
Totally ridiculous, barely coherent, and freaking hilarious.

I gotta watch that again tonight.

AHH! Ninja'd! Really, though: How freaking awesome is that movie?

"THAT'S A LOTTA NUTS!"

I laughed as I typed it.

Indeed it does, not quite as entertaining as the first, possibly due to the lack of the random starting gear. Got to love it when you're sent into a fight to the death with nothing but a saucepan.

Oh and dont think anyone's mentioned it yet, FLASH GORDON!

It has Brian Blessed (GORDON'S ALIVE?!) and the soundtrack was made by Queen. What more can you ask for? Well you get some cheesy dialogue and some rediculously camp outfits anyway.

I did like how that one kid just got a GPS and ran off to find his one true love.

The Big Lebowski. Coincidently I was high as a kite when I saw that for the first time a few weeks ago, and holy shit that film blew my mind
