Oh, come on.
Someone should've atleast seen that one coming.
I miss classic Alucard. Castlevania was one of the few game series that had achieved mild sexualization in its characters without having to make them super serious hulks or scantily clad skanks (not counting the succubi......because that's their role.

And then we got DoS and PoRs' super generic anime designs.
And then we got Judgement's over the top stuff by Takeshi Obata (who is not a bad artist, but NOT suited for Castlevania)

So this isn't about what women find attractive but more along the lines of what male characters were MADE specifically to appeal to the female audience?

If memory serves there did seem to be quite the mass declarations of love for Kuja also in FFIX back in the day. Though many male FF characters get some of that treatment.

how on earth did i forget about Roche?

well can we put most of the cast from Witcher 2 in there, with exception of Geralt, Zoltan and Dandelion
Dandelion wasn't bad. Especially not in a line-up with Loredo and Letho.

On starkiller:

His personality is a raging emo architype, now there are people who find that particularly attractive. Are there people who actually find that particularly satisfying to play?

ITT: No actual examples of sexualised male characters, bar probably those elf things on this page and Dante.

It's quite funny to see that it's seemingly so easy to spot "sexualisation" in characters that you find sexy, but not in ones you don't find attractive.

any one looks attractive when compared to Loredo or Letho, heck Kratos looks hot compared to them and he has an inhuman jaw line and water balloons glued to his arms and chest (i think kratos is really unappealing)
