Best
- Horizon: I think the game looks great. All the enemies and environments look fantastic and fun to explore.
- The Legend of Zelda: Kudos to Nintendo for, apparently, evolving the series. Also, the art style reminds me of a grownup Wind Waker, so that is a plus.
- Titanfall 2: The MP trailer looks like a lot of fun. I like the tone of the SP trailer, although it raises some disturbing issues with the MP content.

Disappointing/Bad:
- Days Gone: It looked interesting in trailer form, but once they showed the game (and it turned out to be yet another zombie apocalypse game), it became really boring. It looks like a mix of Last of Us, that tried to differentiate with hordes to zombies making them cheap and inconsequential (check the trailer, notice the hundreds of bullets he shots, also check that the horde in the demo keeps chasing him but dodges him when near, making it look closer to a gush of water made of corpses), with Dead Rising, but without the tongue-in-cheek cheesiness.
- Battlefield 1: After all the good will, seeing the game being played makes it look like yet another Battlefield with a slim WW 1 paint layer. Not that I am surprised, and the SP still has potential to be good, but the MP shown brought down the initial hype fast.
- Quake Champions: They took an influential single note, killing nazis game and turned it into one of the best SP campaigns in years (for a FPS) that still played a lot of homage to the source material. Then they took one of the more classic FPS of the history of video games, ripped it of the accumulated baggage of years of sequels and make it awesome again. Now it is time to revisit another of their beloved franchises, and they came up with: a MOBA. Because we all know the series is full of unique and interesting characters, like Quake Guy and Quake 2 Guy...

I'll try to be unbiased:

Best:
1. God of War 4/Gears of war 4 ( the GOW of both systems looks promising.)
2. Zelda: Song of the wild (Probably the only interesting thing from Nintendo for me)
3. Battlefield 1 (Finally a war game without US forces!)

Worst:
1. Watch Dogs 2 (WTF....)
2. Skyrim special addition (Pointless if you own it already for the pc)
3. FIFA 17 (Same shit recycled. Yay......)

Grey ground (The ones I'm excited for, but not as much as my top 3)
Cuphead
Ghost Recon: WL
For Honor
We Happy Few
Titanfall 2
Pokemon sun and moon

Serious Sam. It's over the top, shallow, cheesy, and a bunch of other things I hate.

I agree. im old school FPS fan and hate serious sam. its disgrace to old school FPS games. its just close tight arena shooting aliens. no level design at all. no pacing at all.

Best:

Zelda: Looks like it will return to the style of the best games, the 2D ones as was perfectly achieved in A Link between Worlds. New features, a colorful style and a lot of charm.
Horizon Fighting dinosaurs and robots is always fun, and it kind of feels like it took inspiration from the awesome games Zeno Clash and Xenoblade, though the anti-technology theme is horrible.
Death Stranding: Fucking Hideo Kojima, and it looks just as weird and charming as his other games. I also approve of the dead baby.
Worst:

Detroit: Become Human: David Cage's movies make Twilight look like Crime and Punishment
Days Gone and God of War: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Battlefield 1, Infinite Warfare, Killing Floor, Tom Clancy games: Stop making these identical shooters, we want something new! No, shoving some spaceships and grappling hooks for five minutes in what will otherwise be a generic, repetitive game is not new. Call of Duty, too little too late: I have plenty of far better games with spaceships coming out, like Star Citizen, No Man's Sky, Farpoint and that game from the Microsoft conference.

Biggest disappointments:

Last Guardian: This game still looks like shit that was made in three weeks rather than eight years. It runs slowly, the gameplay is awful, the dog is a ripoff of The Neverending Story--fuck this game.
Quake Champions: Not necessarily bad, but with no singleplayer it will get repetitive quickly and the trailer looks pretty dull.
Resident Evil 7: Fucking Hell, they cut out all the charm and weirdness of the series and turned it into a Slender Man wannabe that we have seen a million times? Horror is about the unexpected, the series works as horror because there is so much random weirdness, you never know what will happen, but will probably consist entirely of wandering in the dark and jump scares.

Nicest surprises:

We Happy Few Looks like an unusual and stylish game, and I am definitely interested in it.
Steep: Sports and racing are not that interesting to me, but this looks really fun and immersive. I might get it.
South park Fractured But Whole: It was only shown for a minute or two, but I laughed long and hard.
Spiderman: I know licensed games are usually terrible, but this game looks lightning-fast, wildly exciting and mercilessly challenging. I want it.

I go for the categories "excited", "interested", "in doubt" and "bored".

Excited

Games that I really hope do not suck and that I'm kind of hyped for.

Horizon - Zero Dawn

I was already very impressed when they announced it last year with a gameplay trailer. Showing even more gameplay this year just reassures me that it is something I will very likely enjoy.
The gameplay looks rock solid and quite extensive (open world, crafting, interactive dialogs, taming) while the visuals are just stunning and the setting is still fresh and intriguing.
Certainly my personal favourite

ReCore

Another new IP from last year E3. This time we get a glimpse of actual gameplay and I see nothing terribly wrong with it. Kind of reminds me of the engineer of Wild Star having your specialized droid army at your disposal.
Scavenger setting is fresh, so yea looks good to me.
The biggest change however was that it is coming to PC!
At this point I think I will probably can my XO since my PC is so much better than any console and all Microsoft game seem to be now on Windows 10 too.

For Honor

I was so disappointed when last year it looked more like a MP only experience. But apparently that impression was wrong as they showcased a SP campaign this time!
I can get into that provided the combat is as good as they make it out to be.

Mass Effect ? Andromeda

I admit I?m a sucker for BioWare. But still it looks visually pretty good thanks to Frostbite and I can get behind the idea of being an alien explorer in a different galaxy.
I hope they find a good balance between size and details of the planets surfaces and it looks like they do (some look quite detailed other quite vast).
Story wise I would be alright if they send out the arc before ME3 in case something goes wrong with the reaper invasion. In that case the ones on the arc would have no idea what happened in the Milky Way and no way of contacting them either. Perfect cop out.

Dishonored 2

What can I say? I really liked the first one. I don't think it required a sequel but I won't complain that it still get one.
Aesthetics are still intact and seems like we get another bunch of crazy abilities. Trailer was bit on the action side but I guess sneaking is not really made to be showcased in trailers.

Intrested

Games that peaked my curiosity or surprised me in some way. I'm not sure on them yet but I have my eyes on them.

God of War

It looks quite different to the old games. And I mean that in a good way because did not like old games.
But I have to see more of it. For example, how the situation with QTEs evolved or how the combat is really like (more enemy types etc.). I'm also not yet sure on the father son stuff. I hate kids.
Visually impressive.

The Last Guardian

Really the only thing that it has going for it for me at this moment is that it has a release date now.
Another vaporware meets its end, finally. Let's see how it plays out.
Oh and UbiSoft confirmed Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still in production it seems... maybe one day we might get that too.

Titanfall 2

Oh so we now get a SP campaign!
Depending on the world building it might actually be kind of interesting.

Days Gone

Okay we had a lot of zombie themed games as of late. This seems like a Dead Rising played straight.
Since I can't get into the wackiness of a zombie apocalypse this might be more for me.

In doubt

Games that did not convince me.

We Happy Few

The premise is kind of intriguing I suppose. The aesthetics reminds me of BioShock.
But the gameplay is just not my cup of coffee and the visuals seem really bad most of the time.

Prey

So we go from a bounty hunter hunting aliens to some sort of lab rat trying to survive. The former sounded like a lot of fun the later more overdone.
Honestly I don't get this change. It made the game more generic.

Scalebound

Earlier videos looked better. I'm not into co-op and the guy is still obnoxious.
Video comments seem full of giant enemy crab with weak points for massive damage jokes. I guess they should have foreseen this...

Bored

Games that I don't get.

Final Fantasy XV

I don't get why people look forward to this boy bands road movie. The titan fight was incomprehensible.
And the VR is joke if I ever saw one.

Death Stranding

Kojimas good visual style aside this trailer told me nothing.
So I guess this game will just be another nonsensical mind fuck that some people try their hardest to make sense off while most just go "meh" about it and move on.

Resident EVIL

A VR zombie game in the style of Amnesia or jump scare the game as I'm sure it will be called.
Look I'm the first guy to admit RE should not go down the action road but this I do not know.
I think RE should have died with Umbrella.

Quake Champions

So you follow your success of an old school Doom with a class based arena shooter up... why?
Man I would have loved an old school SP Quake.

I just saw the Ever Oasis, and that is another candidate for the nicest surprises list. It looks charming, and as a Nintendo game it will probably be very fun, challenging and imaginative.

Actually, the US is one of the playable factions in the game. And for some bizzare reason, the French and Russians aren't.

I saw remarkably little of E3 so far...oh well, I think I can still fabricate a top and a bottom. In no particular order...

Resident Evil VII's demo is in my bottom. It's definitely interesting and it's finally done the impossible by making Resident Evil scary but we already know that first-person horror is scary and ripping off PT isn't exactly creative. It's not bad, in fact I can't wait for 2017 or 2018 or however long in the future when we see the shitty action game Resi7 was GOING to be before PT died. What puts it in my bottom 3 though is the fact that the demo is 100% not going to be in the game so Capcom could have put on an R-Rated puppet show and it would have been just as relevant to the final product that will be Resident Evil 7.

Spider-Man is in my bottom mainly because it looks just like every other Spider-Man game I've seen. Maybe not the one that took place exclusively inside of a building but it just seems to be more of the same but with a dumb new suit and a voice actor who isn't the kid from Civil War (I think anyway).

Finally on the bottom list is Arkham VR but mainly because bits of it have been spoiled for me. I don't care about the the Arkham universe and neither do the makers of this game considering who's going to be present in this game. I like the idea of a Batman mystery game and even a VR Batman game but my issue is that we've finally got to the point where either the devs don't care about continuity anymore or the devs are making an Arkham Elseworlds game which is really weird considering Arkham already felt pretty Elseworldy.

When it comes to my favorite games from E3 that's a lot easier. I want Yokai Watch 2 right-stat now and luckily I can no longer say that I know more about Yokai Watch 3 than I do about 2...I know roughly the same amount about both games though I think I know more of the new Yokai in 3 than I do in 2 which is kinda funny...I just want to know when I'll be able to meet Demon Okure dammit...

My absolute favorite game shown at E3 was of course Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I don't think a Zelda game has had an opening that cold since 1987 and I really hope that doesn't change between now and release. What's more, I love the idea of being able to go straight from the Resurrection Chamber to the final boss from the very beginning...in my techno-boxers. I can't wait to see towns, I can't wait to see exactly how much craftier the crafting system will be and I can't wait to see the actual dungeons though it's so surreal to see the bosses outside of them that I'm not sure if I'll be able to take the raw insanity of what a dungeon boss will be like.

I don't really have a definitive third best...I'm interested by Ever Oasis, Stardew Valley on consoles will allow me to get into it, Skyrim HD is a neat idea I guess, Star Trek VR looks really awesome but I'm poor, Pokemon Go look neat but I only have an android tablet, Dead Rising 4 looks neat and, the new Amiibo look good except for Waluigi who is the one I've been waiting for since the very beginning and I can't believe I'll soon be able to take my beloved home at long last, and in time for Thanksgiving too

I really want to get onboard for Scalebound because I think the concept is cool and like Platinum's stuff but I cannot get past what a tool the main character looks like. I immediately thought of him as a millennial Dante wannabe sans charm...or really any redeeming qualities; and then I saw the headphones around his neck... Practically assuring me he'd pop them on during battle and I would be beaten over the head with bad EDM while he attempts one-liners while only achieving peak douche. I'd lose on purpose just to watch him die, honestly.

Ah man, I can make an exfoliating scrub out of all the salt being produced about Resident Evil 7 in here. As a Silent Hill fan (and who's still really pissed off himself that Hills was cancelled), I'm actually pretty excited for 7. NOT so excited for the whole VR thing, though.

But yeah, I'm still looking forward to the Last Guardian and a cheesy part of me likes the aspect of Detroit... I liked Heavy Rain, heavy-handed and pretentious as it was (though I wouldn't touch Beyond: Two Souls (sorry Willem Dafoe)). Also I'm KIND of interested in Death Stranding.... though it's weird that it's Norman Reedus' head on a not Norman Reedus body. It's just weird

Just by what was presented, of course. These may all turn out to be awful.

Best:
01 The Fractured But Whole (This game was swimming in a pool of feces and single handedly saved the Ubisoft conference for me)
02 Dishonored 2 (This and Deus Ex are my most anticipated games this year on PC)
03 We Happy Few (That trailer was amazing. It may turn out to be a crap game but I am very interested now)

Worst:
01 Watch_Dogs? (nobody needed this sequel)
02 Ghost Recon Wildlands (I cringed so hard the whole time)
03 Final Fantasy 15: VR (Final Fantasy 15 doesn't look bad enough on it's own, noooooo they had to add VR to it.)

I am going to answer this by looking at which games that might be in the running for launch purchase

.

Maybe Dues Ex? But E3 didn't help there as I'm already considering it.

I'm really disappointed in this year's E3 after how good last year's was.
The only interesting games that were shown off were South Park: The Fractured, but whole, and Titanfall 2.
They'd already revealed SP: tFbW last year, so it barely counts.

My friend, what I don't understand is that Deus Ex: MD could also be considered cinematic action game claiming RPG. They both have heavily cinematic scripts guiding the action, with open environments and various upgrade paths.

I myself think both games look terrific, but am leaning more towards Deus Ex because of playing the previous.

.
Deus Ex never claim to be just RPG. it claim to be a game that combine FPS, RPG and Stealth genre into one.
The biggest flaw with Human Revolution was that the Stealth was detrimental to the FPS and RPG aspects of the game.
It's not an FPS/RPG with a stealth focus, it's a stealth game with crammed in FPS/RPG elements, and that is why it fails.
It's also why Dishonored 1 failed.

Nothing really impressed me and I was very disappointed in that there was no news of FFVII remake although I can understand why when XV is around the corner so they dont want it stealing its thunder.

South Park looks like it will be an amusing game, Horizon looks ok same with Last Guardian. I am happy Tekken 7 actually has a console release date and I am looking forward to Nioh and For Hono(u)r. Zelda was also ok.

Worst was just things like Fifa, Maddem, Forza, Watch Dogs 2 pretty much new sequels to old IPS I dont care much about and yet get recycled again and again and again on a yearly or bi annual basis with little to no apparent change.

Was hoping to see Shantae half genie hero somewhere but seems to have gone quiet hopefully they are just getting on with it.

Even the games I am excited for though I am not exactly chomping at the bit and probably wont even get on release. Also I feel they need some proper VR games rather than proof of concepts. If they cant solve the movement thing that is gonna hamstring it pretty bad.

Oh and no new Soul Calibur game was announced which disappointed me.
