Tom Waits. Whilst I dislike putting musical artists on pedestals, I fail to see anything that man does that isn't musical genius.

The writer John Ajvide Lindqvist, specifically the novel he wrote, Let The Right One In and the film adaptation of it, which he wrote the screenplay of. It's brilliant <3
That's one of his weaker novels, I've got all of his works except for Little Star, but that's because it won't be released in pocket form until later this year. Feels damn good to be swedish and getting all of his books first.

So yeah, I'm a fellow John Ajvide Lindqvist fanboy, as seen above, I'm also a huge fan of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (the manga, not the awful anime), Tool due to Maynard being a musical genius and lastly I'm a Halo fanboy til' the day I die.
Same here, i've got Handling The Undead and Harbour aswell so far which are both just as brilliant. I aswell have not got Little Star yet but thats mainly because I live in England, so you'll probably get it first. I think he's releasing another book including short stories and epilogues for the books LTROI and HTU, so I can't wait for that too.

Man, this writer and the film has made me want to go to Sweden so bad.

I've only recently noticed how I've actually started to like some franchises so much that i won't listen to any criticism at all.
I am a fanboy of the following stuff:
The Discworld
Dragon age: origins
Mass Effect
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (anime, for those of you who don't know. THE BEST GODDAMN ANIME EVEERRRR!!!! ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWAH!!!!!!!!)
Max Payne

Aaaand i think that's all. I bet i forgot something, and now that I've forgotten it, I am no longer a true fanboy. Damn.

Legend of Zelda, will eventually have tattoo to prove it.

Others include Pokemon, Fallout games, and South Park.

Also, PlayStation. I defend it whenever I can. Everyone around me seems to hate it.

With good reason however!

Big BioWare fanboi here. I'll pre-order the most deluxe of deluxe Collector's Editions of anything that has their name on it for no more reason than because it has their name on it. Prob same with Bethesda (at least TES series) and perhaps Obsidian too, to a lesser degree.

Also I've strangely veered toward being a Samsung fanboi too. Mobile, hard drives, monitors, printers, etc. Saying that it's not religious...with reviews on the Panasonic VT20 series plasmas for example, I'll be opting for one of those over Samsung's LCDTVs when I come to buy one. I also opted for a WD VelociRaptor recently over a Samsung F3 and an Intel SSD for my boot drive over a Samsung one. Still they're the first company I'd look to for any consumer electronics. On the flipside, Sony would be the last (except for the PSP). :)

A Song of Ice and Fire, seriously, I will talk about it for hours if you will let me. When I saw the first trailer for the TV show... I'd never been so excited for 22 seconds of brief flashes of film in my life.

The one you're looking forward to is Paper walls, and I've got it laying right next to me. It's really good, and the last story in it is an epilogue for Handling of the undead.

I've actually found myself enjoying books written by John Ajvide Lindqvist far more than I have while reading books by Stephen King. I don't deny that Stephen King is talented, but there's something about John Ajvide Lindqvist, his books are just slightly better and slightly more interesting in every aspect.
Ah yes, now I remember the name now... Paper Walls. I regularly go to this website for his novels so should take a look at this! http://let-the-right-one-in.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2
I haven't read much Stephen King and I tried reading IT but I could barely read it myself. What recommendations would you give for Stephen King?

Games
Metal Gear Solid- The story, the stealth, the bosses and snake is badass
Battlefield series- The best online FPS shooter for me.

Shows
To aru majutsu no index- This anime emits awesomeness. It has a main character who literally takes out people in a one punch and also has Accelerator. Nuff said.
