Same here, i've got Handling The Undead and Harbour aswell so far which are both just as brilliant. I aswell have not got Little Star yet but thats mainly because I live in England, so you'll probably get it first. I think he's releasing another book including short stories and epilogues for the books LTROI and HTU, so I can't wait for that too.Cuy said:That's one of his weaker novels, I've got all of his works except for Little Star, but that's because it won't be released in pocket form until later this year. Feels damn good to be swedish and getting all of his books first.Flamezdudes said:The writer John Ajvide Lindqvist, specifically the novel he wrote, Let The Right One In and the film adaptation of it, which he wrote the screenplay of. It's brilliant <3
So yeah, I'm a fellow John Ajvide Lindqvist fanboy, as seen above, I'm also a huge fan of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (the manga, not the awful anime), Tool due to Maynard being a musical genius and lastly I'm a Halo fanboy til' the day I die.
Ah yes, now I remember the name now... Paper Walls. I regularly go to this website for his novels so should take a look at this! http://let-the-right-one-in.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2Cuy said:The one you're looking forward to is Paper walls, and I've got it laying right next to me. It's really good, and the last story in it is an epilogue for Handling of the undead.Flamezdudes said:Same here, i've got Handling The Undead and Harbour aswell so far which are both just as brilliant. Man, this writer and the film has made me want to go to Sweden so bad.
I've actually found myself enjoying books written by John Ajvide Lindqvist far more than I have while reading books by Stephen King. I don't deny that Stephen King is talented, but there's something about John Ajvide Lindqvist, his books are just slightly better and slightly more interesting in every aspect.
