I'm going as Big Boss from Metal Gear solid. I already owned pretty much the whole outfit sans an eyepatch. Or at least it looks close enough in my opinion.

I can't do halloween this year, but next year I'm going as a splicer from bioshock. I got a creepy ass rabbit mask for a wickerman bonfire party and it gave me the idea :D

I'm being an administrator.

Yes, some of us have workies tomorrow and won't be dressing up.

Come the evening, I'll be hiding in my house and not answering the door. I live in a rough area.

I'll dress up as a college student going to his Russian class. Then I'll go home and change my costume to guy who tries to finish Fallout New Vegas because Uncharted 3 comes out tomorrow.

Then on November 1st, I'll buy a lot of candy at the grocery store for a quarter of the price. Yay!

Sean has multiple spellings, I know a Sean named Sean

OT: I will be taking advice from the Angry Video Game Nerd, I will be watching Halloween with all the lights out, a bowl of candy on the porch (it will be gone in 5 min but I don't care) with the sounds of the kids outside enhancing the atmosphere, and when the credits role I shall get up and look out into the neighborhood with the knowledge that Micheal Myers is still out there...as long as I ignore the sequels

Already done the dressing up thing when I went out last night.. not gonna do it again despite the fact I'm going to a Halloween party tomorrow. I'll just stick some wings on and say I'm a fairy or something..
With a bit of imagination.. mad hatter.. pic related http://bit.ly/vyHaLd (I'm the one with blue hair.. sadly it's not real ;-;)
YOU FOOL, YOU'VE SHOWN YOUR FACE TO THE INTERNETS!!

now that that's out of the way, i wont be doing anything. i might do a movie marathon and get drunk with some friends if anything, but honestly, i live in australia, we're all to busy fighting off man-sized spiders and kangaroo riding midgets to worry about halloween.

Dude you're a bit old for Trick or Treating.

I would have to strongly discourage you.
Dude You're never too old for trick or treating. I'm 18 and I still go out (well it's like the last half hour of trick or treating after I've given away my candy and no one cares cause they wanna get rid of the last of their Candy but still It's trick or treating)

I usually just wear a skeleton bow-tie shirt and jeans, on the day. I don't usually go to any parties, but I am the kind of person who carves pumpkins, makes decorations to put outside, and makes sure to get enough candy for the kids. Especially early on the evening, because that's when the toddlers dressed up like lions, bears, and fuzzy animals come around. I usually don't like children, at all ; but it seems to change when Halloween rolls around. It's weird. I'm a holiday person.

...are you for real?

That's just ridiculous. You're just that patriotic, huh? Can't be bothered to take part in anything at all foreign, even if it's fun?

I highly suggest getting over yourself. It makes life better in a number of ways.
It has nothing to do with patriotism. It has everything to do with simply not caring to celebrate holidays that are meaingless to me. I'd bet the majority of people who celebrate Halloween don't know what it's about.

I never said it was Australian or American either...

Also, you celebrate xmas under protest? Christmas is an amazing holiday filled with joy, family, and warmth.

What is happening to the world?
I don't celebrate christmas because its a religious holiday. I don't believe in their religion, why should I celebrate their holidays? Having said that, I do do the whole family thing and I make a point of not being a Scrooge about it.

Do you celebrate Chinese New Year? What about Australia Day? How about ANZAC day? Hanuku? Queen's Birthday? Labour Day? Independance day in any number of different countries (specifically NOT America)? What about Melbourne Cup day?

I would bet you don't celebrate any of those. Why? Because they aren't relevant to you. Same deal with me and xmas/halloween. I participate in xmas for the benefit of my family, I try to avoid Halloween as much as possible and I generally don't care about national holidays that aren't celebrated in my country.
Halloween is not a National Holiday of any country, including America. It is has just become a worldwide autumnal/October tradition. I have tried to explain this to you a few times. Halloween has become a worldwide holiday and has never been a national American holiday.

I don't know how else to phrase this to you man...

Also, I am not a Christian, but I celebrate Christmas because it has become a huge cultural holiday. I see it as a celebration of those you love. It is far more than a religious holiday at this point. But to each his own.
