If you have better than or equal to a Pentium 4 (3.0Ghz), 512Mb DDR1 RAM (133Mhz) and an ATi Radeon 9800 Pro, I recommend buying it for PC. The Xbox 360 version was by far the worst of the ports, when I saw it on a friends 360 I was shocked. It wasn't unplayable by ANY means, but you're so much better off playing it on PC, that set up managed to out preform my PS3 on Oblivion graphics wise. Yes that was my old rig I specced.ShaggyEdiddy214 said:Actually I have never played Oblivion but I just got an Xbox last month and isnt it for Xbox?
Any reccomendations?
When buying it for PC, good luck, the GotY is overpriced everywhere. If you're on a tight budget you can go 360 for about £10 (GotY), but keep in mind this means no mods and non of the plug-ins (Horse armour etc...).
