My Culling Field Trap (TM) to the bottom left (to harvest creepers and/or get petty revenge on them), my first mine just above it, my moat, and my Mt. Doom fortress, complete with water/lava fall. Future projects: subway system to beach home, finish mansion atop Mt. Doom, all diamond armor, gold house somewhere in the snow.

My current project was,at the start,just me trying to find better ways to make massive mines.But then,I saw that the area in which I made my mine entrances was a nice little bay,so I made a portal to the netherworld to take netherrack and make a massive wall around the bay,complete with watch towers and a small submarine base looking building.
Now I'm just going to build an entire port.I have plans drawn up for the castle overlooking the harbour and couple houses and shops.I just finished a chapel,which was really a spur of the moment idea when I saw a huge pile of dirt blocks in one of the corners of my wall.

The real problem now is getting enough light inside the walls to not have creepers roaming in there,considering that I'm going to put block of TNT in storerooms next to prop cannons.One creeper there,and a third of my town would go up in flames.

As a stress reliever when I die of falls and lava from the netherworld,I have a 20+ tree forest and a chest with a couple lighters.

An arcology.

Complete with three farming biomes (forest, plains, and ocean) sufficient in scale that the forest biome will hold ~400 trees, a gigantic obsidian shell, and a 20-by-20-by-20 sphere of lava at its center (housed within a glass enclosure, naturally).

It's intended to be ported onto the multiplayer server I mod and generally inhabit, but the host also has a survival server that it could feed the five thousand on.

Well, my good friend, as the clock struck midnight this very morning, on the day of my birthday, I came home to find my alien face home ( a wooden building that looked like a aliens face, with the eyes being glass boxes in the sky ) ON FIRE....half of the house is burnt to shreds, and I am left crying.

I left lava in a room, thinking it wouldnt melt cobblestone...I was wrong (or mistaken cobblestone for dirt) and when the hole was opened the fire seaped onto the wood. It was super effective.

Ill probably give up on this one and make something else, possibly on a new world, to hide tha pain.

A tower made entirely out of pain (cactus), the rest is made out of sand and torches, so all it takes is a single creeper explosion to destroy a huge chunk of it. Luckily I spawned in a desert so sand and cacti are everywhere.
