What Are Your Aspirations In Life?

We all have something in mind for what we want to do for a future career or we set certain goals for ourselves to accomplish, so I ask simply, what do you aspire to do in this life? Be it career wise or other.

Personally, for a career, I really wanted to be some sort of writer or journalist in the videogame industry, but after learning that they make shit for money, I honestly have no idea what I want to do. I'd like something in the entertainment field, but I just don't know what exactly yet. I really need to get to work on that.

I'd like to somehow find a job that I enjoy doing not just for the money. I honestly can't think of what that might be, but it would be nice.

To be honest I have never really known what I want be when I get older (23 years old at the moment). I just go with the flow till I drop dead I guess.

I have no damn clue, to be honest. I usually have many things that I want to do but I never really "know" if I want to do them. Sometimes I want to be a musician [small](guitar, bass, drums, turntables, harmonica, etc)[/small], sometimes I want to be an animator, sometimes I want to be a writer. Hell, maybe all of the above. It just proves one thing: I'm one inconsistent son of a *****.

I want to be a teacher.

Specifically, I want to teach US and World History in either a high school or at a college. My mother was a teacher, my grandmother was a professor... I guess it kind of runs in the blood.

I... don't know. I finished college last week, so this is something I sort of need to know. Even so, i've been kind of... preoccupied with events for several years now, so it is very unlikely that I will be able to have a coherent plan anytime soon. Only one thing I do know is this: I want to be able to live following my own rules and to stay true to myself. Those are absolutes I will not break for anything.

Well, to have my own company someday, of course. I've only had one job so far and am already tired of having higher-ups telling me what to do and having no say in how things are run and the most annoying thing is being handed a paycheck for a few hours of menial, boring work.

Of course, I also want to get a salaried Software career and that's my goal for getting out of college.

Finally, I want to be politically active and influential. I will not die without getting a seat in the House or somewhere. Governor maybe. President, in my dreams... and if I wish to hav ea premature death with my legacy forevermore scrutinized.

Go into international political affairs. I have a long way to go with studying and learning, but I've had it in mind for some time.

I considered video game story boarding as well, though it's become something of more a hobby to me than anything (short story writing, etc)..

Either a job that I don't completely hate that pays decent enough for me to live a modest life and gives me enough room and free time to make music, read stuff, maybe travel a bit, maybe write or draw stuff, live life, ect.

Or make a living off those things I like to do in my free time.

The latter probably won't happen, but if it does, that would be pretty cool.

Oh...er...seriously, I want to work as either programmer or designer in game development.

I've done so much already in my life and have now started to take it a little easier so I have no aspirations apart from sleeping with Salma Heyak or Beyonce.
