Realistically, I want to become a police officer (state trooper at the highest), get married, have at least a son and daughter, and enjoy my life with my wife.

Preferably, I'd like to become the Punisher.
Yo dawg, We heard you liked The Punisher! So we killed your family...

OT:
Starts at 2 mins.
See, that's the thing, I doubt someone would kill my family first, so I'd have to willingly give up my life to do that. Still, I wouldn't mind the chance.

Yeah, yeah. Being the Punisher would be cool but I would have trouble with killing quadruple amputees, which he has no problem with.

Well, finish med school, firstly. I'm not exactly sure what field to go into yet, but I suppose I might work in histology, pathology or radiology. Endocrinology is also very fascinating to me. However, I don't want to limit myself on one particular path just yet.

Well, if he was some criminal mastermind, I think I'd still kill him.

Personally, for a career, I really wanted to be some sort of writer or journalist in the videogame industry, but after learning that they make shit for money, I honestly have no idea what I want to do.
Erm, if you want to really do something and will enjoy doing it, nothing should be in the way of you, not even mediocre pay.

OT: I want to be the world's best gamer in all genre's fps/rts/puzzlers/indie games/rpg etc. But Ill settle for being as rich as Bill Gates when Im 40.

Get through life without bothering anyone, keep my head down, stay out of the way. Attempt to be useful/helpful if at all possible. Not especially concerned about what happens to me personally.

That's about it, I guess. I'm not a very ambitious person. Partly, I feel a bit silly planning ahead in terms of what to do with my life since I'm only going to live till about 40-ish tops, and quite possibly a good deal less. So yes, try to help people out and not be too irritating. Thus far, I'm even having trouble with that much, which doesn't say a whole lot for me.

Honestly; I want to run a pub. But that doesn't earn good money any more and by good I mean enough to raise a family on ( there are seven pubs within walking distance of my house and all of them have either shutdown permanently or have changed hands almot constantly in the past 5 years)

Failing that I would love to get into television, either in front of the camera or behind it. heck, I'd go on the X Factor if it meant I'd get a foothold onto the telly. However I have neither the talent or the personality. So yeah, back to the lotto then...

Journalism is all i have ever wanted to do. Working for a gaming magazine would be superb, regardless of the pay. The satisfaction of the Job would be ample reward.

We all have something in mind for what we want to do for a future career or we set certain goals for ourselves to accomplish, so I ask simply, what do you aspire to do in this life? Be it career wise or other.

Personally, for a career, I really wanted to be some sort of writer or journalist in the videogame industry, but after learning that they make shit for money, I honestly have no idea what I want to do. I'd like something in the entertainment field, but I just don't know what exactly yet. I really need to get to work on that.

So, what about you Escapist?
If you're profile is to be believed your 17 so i'm giving you a heads up from now. You really rally have to love whatever you do when it comes to the entertainment field. I've had to work several shitty jobs with ridiculously long hours for no pay just to build up a resume. I'm currently working in a tv studio and its awesome but it took a lot of being extremely broke and speding money on only rent and food to get to this point.

Ultimately, I'd like to be part of the team of scientists which cure ageing, or work with some complicated theoretical physics, perhaps even something revolving around chaos-theory.

But to be slightly more realistic; I'd like to set up some sort of business with a friend, preferably something creative like webdesign or indie-game production.

Well, I've got several ideas for movies but I have yet to write a good script. My aspiration would be to get at least one of my ideas on film, preferably as both writer and director.

Some sort of writer and a comedian. Of course, if that doesn't work out, there's always begging on the streets.

Pretty much what I've found here since moving away from Ohio:: a beautiful fiance I can love and spoil, good friends, summer nights of weekend hangouts and bonfires, small cities that aren't clogged with smog and have populations of less than 50,000. Unemployment still runs rampant but I have a better shot here than I did back home where it was all dependent on a dead automotive industry. All I want is a simple life where I can do what I want and have people to enjoy it with.

I'm currently split between "achieving a position of great power in politics", and "starting my own game-design studio." They're both a bit longer-term, though.

If I managae to pull my finger out and finish anything I ever start, I hope to have a novel published... I don't mind whether it does well, but of course getting bags of money for it would nice. For my peace of mind, finishing and getting a novel published would give me a great sense of fulfillment.

As a career I'd like to write for some sort of magazine or internet site one day building up to havin my own site or publication...Even if I sold millions of novels I'd still do that...I enjoy writing for the people and putting my opinion across...when I get around to finishing things >.<

Be a good father and husband, be able to do illusions professionally more, and...well, that's about it.

I've got to agree with you on that. I think there may be some drugs involved.
