Digging the love of the English accent. Last time I went to America people kept making me say words that I have never said in my life before like "Marvellous!" and then proclaiming that I must say it everyday.

OT:
1. Irish (On girls)
2. Welsh
3. South African (District 9 :D)

I'd have to say british english, or southern USA (Texas/etc)

Australian accent is pretty nice but unless they talk real slow i don't understand half of it :p

I can't believe the number of people saying french though, really ?

Most kinds of British accents are awesome but you cannot go past an african or jamaican accent. Unless that cool half french half african accent you sometimes get. I would turn gay for the men that speak that.

Huh..it's nice to see all the people saying they like British accents here :3 I wasn't sure whether that stereotype was true or not. Hm...I was going to describe which dialect of English I speak in, but I'm actually not sure. Some people have said I speak with a similar accent to Sean Bean.

Anyway, as for my preferences:
1. New Zealand
2. Russian
3. I like girls with Californian accents.

Taraboner and Seanchan accents are pretty fun. Not so sure about Illianer, though.
Been reading the latest WoT book I'm guessing? Illianer accents are the best in those books.

OT. Probably the German accent, or any Scandinavian accent because when they speak english they sound almost like geordies.

Southern American oooooh yeah. French girls though ;D Ooooh god french girls

So many people are saying that the British accent is sexy. I think I proved in the accent thread that a Mancunian woman's accent is not all that attractive.

British and Russian. My boyfriend's from England and his accent is pure sexyness.

I'm very pleased to see that a German accent is quite popular because German's my first language.

I'm afraid I don't know enough about your country to narrow it down to specific regions. I know what I like when I hear it, though!
Can you describe it? Do you know which general area of the country it comes from?

-EDIT- In fact, when you say "British", do you in fact mean "English", or could this accent be from Ireland, Scotland or Northern Ireland too?

British and Irish accents on women makes me melt.

Scottish accents are just kickass for anyone.

Isn't Irish and Scottish almost the same? And yes, on women, it's damn sexy! Unless they swear a lot, Irish women and swearing is a bit scary.

All this love for the British, I'm feeling very happy.

Anywho..

1. Russian
2. French (but only when women speak with a French accent)
3. Irish (Mostly I only like the southern Irish accent, but northern Irish is good in a pinch)
