No they're not =P. I can kinda see why a non-English speaker (or at least someone who doesn't speak English as their first language) could confuse them, but to me there is a big difference.

I'm Dutch and I once knew this girl from New Zealand.

Hearing a girl speak Dutch with a New Zealand accent. Ah, it's adorable. She also had the most beautifull face I'd ever seen. But, she went back to New Zealand and outta my life. *sniff sniff *

British English, or Queen's English as someone else called it. Man, I wish I could speak English like that. Reading, writing and listening to English is no problem for me, but when speaking it I have this horrible European accent. Quite annoying, wouldn't you say.

Oh, and the TF2 Spy's accent is funny.

You are not the only one. Any british accent will do. Scottish is my favourite.
