You can have webcams put into your coffin so that people can make sure that you are dead. Alleviate your fears a tad bit.
And also Bot flies. *shudders*
Two things:
There're a couple of really weird places around the UK that offer live burials/cremations over the internet. With that in mind, imagine the the camera right in front of the face: and the eyes open mid-service. (Sorry, can't help laughing at that...)
And botflies aren't that scary... only the human botfly creeps me out. Also, I find it strangely amusing that for the taxnonomy of the botfly: section - Schizophora, can't help thinking of a drugged up fly...

(also body horror in general I find scary)
I managed to overcome my fear of body horror (i.e. lots of blood, guts and broken stuff) in the weirdest way. It comes with knowing a married couple, one of whom is a consultant surgeon and the other is an insurance saleswoman. Providing a decidedly snide and snarkey commentary while watching all five Saw movies (when only five had been made) marathoned regarding surgical needs and potential insurance payouts made them thoroughly hilarious.

[EDIT] I also get really squirmish when someone with a sharp knife is in the same room as me, even if its someone from my family.
Best stay away from me, then. I tend to wave any knife (or utensil, for that matter) I'm holding about while I talk.
