I listen to 70's music and watch my complete DVD series of Only Fools and Horses, Father Ted, Friends, The Vicar of Dibley and The Thin Blue Line instead of keeping promises to go out and have fun with people I know. Then I lie about why I couldn't come.

Not much is actually a guilty pleasure, but still. The fact that Happy Feet and Wristcutters: A Love Story are my two fav movies tends to suprise some people. xD

I'm so very glad I'm not the only Cartoon Network watcher here! Honestly though..."regular" television has gotten so bad that I guess I shouldn't be surprised that "Chowder" entertains me more than ...whatever the latest show with doctors screwing each other in medical supply closets is.

That dosen't embarrass me though...what does is the fact that I've found some of the adult swim themesongs to be...well, pretty good. In particular? The ones the Jinn did for Blood+ and Code: Geass! *blushing* I am so not an Otaku...

I hate the whole "you say anything good about Japan or like even one anime then you're an Otaku" everyone believes. Otaku is much worse, much much worse.

I like pencil and paper RPGs.
I go on Encyclopedia Dramatica a lot.

im a real big time muscial purist a constently bash most mainstream music and i site that most great music was made before or around the time i was born. haveing said that im a huge fan of Insane clown posse and the other artist on psychopathic records which from a critic point of veiw i could crush but damn it i just love that wicket sh!t.

Most of this seems to have moved to music instead of other stuff. And I'm assuming that "thing you'd get lots of crap for" is being used in place of "guilty pleasure."

Anyway, I listen mostly to from Metallica, Megadeth, Godsmack, and Ozzy Osbourne (among others). I listen to that, and I like Enya, and think Dancing Queen by ABBA is awesome. Past music, though:

I would trade a goodly portion of my current fortune if I could somehow be made employable as a stripper. Dead serious, boys. If I were attractive enough that you silly penis-handlers would actually pay me to wiggle about dramatically and receive adoration, I would never take a day off.

Seems I'm not the only one here who likes metal and j-pop. I get the weirdest looks when people realize that Utada Hikaru is my ringtone. But I wouldn't say I'm ashamed of that or try to hide it. Looks like there are other people who find Encyclopedia Dramatica hilarious aswell. Sweet.

I don't care who knows that I like the shows themselves, but confessing that I eagerly look forward to the theme songs is closer to Otaku than I want to be!
